The LilSquaw I state some victims enjoyed some aspects of being raped, the original point was that of a masochist actively seeking to be raped in reality. You then flipped it and started talking about victims who have no inclination to any of the aspects.

Well exactly how many women actively go search out a raping in reality there, professor plum?

With about 7 billion people in the world, and we don't have to go full half on women just to insure a conservative populus.....lets call her 2 billion.

How many of them actively seek real life actual life threatening or near life threatening rape?

Compare and contrast that to the number of men in the world whos peeners make sounds like big ben. Larger number, smaller?

That is a MYTH that has been debunked by study after study.

I spoke to one sub and what she was saying seemed nuts, she had fantasies about being raped, to me the feelings of a victim who has no inclination towards any of the effects or emotions, and the feelings that a fantasist associates with it can never be equated, which is not to say the reality of rape is any less of a vile act if happened to either. I think some people don't differentiate between reality and fantasy and are damaged by it. Would any of you think that it would be ok for a masochist person to make a choice to put themselves in dangerous situations with a hope to actually being raped, based on their fantasy and the perceived feelings they will get from it?
I think she is delusional and needs to seek help to protect her from herself.
Do any of you believe that if they enjoy the reality of being raped, and as long as they report the crime to the police so this vile criminal can be arrested, that's ok.? I don't. So again I believe they need to be protected from themselves.
Just because a person can it doesn't mean they should.
I understand that this doesn't reflect the reality of everyday people in the bdsm community and the vast majority practice within safe limits, however extreme they may seem.

I only asked two questions just to see if anyone agreed with me, and know one picked up on the questions and started saying unrelated stuff

Isn't that was BDSM is? Consensual. He's arguing in circles because if I remember correctly, the woman had fantasies of being raped. She didn't say she was going out late at night to deserted areas hoping to be raped. Ah, that does make me wet. Oh no!! I must be crazy....FYI..not actively seeking to be raped.

Seriously, Con8ken, why are you on this site? It's a bdsm site for people who like bdsm, not an educational site. The purpose here isn't to make a sociological defense for it--there are sites for that. I'm guessing that you thought you were going to get the equivalent of pink fuzzy handcuffs that you buy at the lingerie store. There's nothing wrong with that, but this isn't the site for it.

As Dark Steven pointed out, there are things that yes, most of us say, no, that's not ok. But either you've really missed the mark on explaining what it is that you're asking (and I actually think I understand your question), or you're here to bait people into some kind of argument (which you've done well).

I think your answer here is yes, there are some people who go to wild extremes that are pathological, and there are people who happen to enjoy some things that, if you don't know what's really happening, look horrifying but in reality, are not. I think of fireplay and electrotorture as examples.

But I can tell you now, if you tried to rescue someone who was doing those things consentually, the "victim" would probably have to be restrained in order to keep you from having the snot beaten out of you.

And now you're getting boring.
