There is only one state that doesnt require any of it.... anyone know which one?

There are three States that are non compulsory Mississippi, New Hampshire, and Virginia. Virginia does offer an uninsured motor vehicle fee, New Hampshire only requires Personal Responsibility, Mississippi offers the option to post a bond or have the cash.

You mentioned somewhere that as a result of the gun list that was published, someone broke into a house and tried to rob them. I found it interesting that, in one case, this person had a gun safe and the robber couldnt get into that safe. I doubt that homeowner views that safe as a punishment... it definitely was a deterrent.

They didn't(and they had the safe voluntarily) but the people in California who lost two children because their oldest couldn't get into the safe to stop and intruder might disagree.

Forgoing speed limits would be akin to allowing anyone to have any weapon. Adding to the list of illegal weapons is more akin to lowering the speed limit dramatically. You can't clamp down full bore, and think that will work, though. If they are already getting guns illegally, what makes you think they won't continue to get them illegally? NH is the only one that requires none of the options like insurance or bonds.

And you still have not said what the penalty is for driving without insurance in CA.

Is it not true that you could have your licenses suspended for up to 4 years? SR22 required afterwards? And you will still get a fine and a ticket?

However there's been a HUGE influx of Chicago gangs and drug cartel into my state...which in turn has driven the crime rate way up from what it used to be.
So it made me wonder if this might be a possibility....shrugs

Apparently you know of another case beyond the one I was refering to. When I was that age I was rutenly left with three younger siblings.

So what? You have labelled her a racist for what she said? For heaven's sakes man! The inner city kids in Chicago ARE killing each other! There are rival gangs just looking for a reason to take a shot at one another, drive by shootings, innocent children dying from stray bullets while sitting inside their homes! Don't you listen to the TV news or read a newspaper?????

Proves what point? That the world has become more dangerous than when we grew up? Thats been obvious for decades, its becoming increasinly worse.

They left a 14 year old alone, before 8 am, with 4 smaller children, two of which were killed by a man who broke in and stabbed 3 of them with a pitchfork.

If you have another case, then provide it.

Status: offline 		Considering that in California you have to be 18 to own a firearm, there is a provision that allows some who is 16 years to posses a firearm if accompanied by an Adult and is at a lawful recreation activity such as hunting. And that some 500 children are accidently killed by gun per year. It to seems prudent to lock up the firearms. I sold my firearms when I became the legal guardian for my granddaughter, she was not even a year old, I have never regreated my decision.

It is said that Nancy Lanza, mother of Adam Lanza kept firearms unsecured in her house, look what happen.
