There may be many reasons why a younger girl/woman may prefer to choose an older man. Some of them can be because:

•They may be more matured and responsible.
•Older men mostly have established careers or business which gives the financial stability and comforts a smart girl/woman desires.
•Older men tend to be more caring and may consider you more, and also be an authority figure in your life - who can and will take charge of things better.
•They are more reliable and self-disciplined - compared to their young counterparts.
•They also seem to be more devoted to their partners and their relationships, and normally do not run around flirting or sleeping around with several women.
•They are more sexually experienced and know how to please their partner and how they want to be pleased.
•They may also be more knowledgeable about the 'lifestyle' and real life in general, because of their own experiences about what makes a real relationship work, and they usuall don't commit the stupid mistakes that younger men do.
•An older man may not need to be pleased sexually on a daily basis - which most woman consider as a positive thing.
•He also may not want children from you, as he might already have had some, or he may be more willing to secure yours, which is definitely a plus for a service-oriented woman.
•He is more knowledgeable because of his age, and because of this wisdom, he can teach you, motivate you, guide you, control you, and make you feel more free to be yourself - safe, secure and confident.

Or she may have Daddy issues.

But, nice attempt to advertise.

Hmmm. I have the pleasure of knowing several young men under the age of 30 who are in loving, committed relationships. OK, they might not be as financially established as a man in his 40s or 50s but these young men are certainly financially prudent and are involved with smart women who are also sensible.

As Oside said: Nice attempt at advertising for a young woman.

My best friend is a 35 year old woman who just married a 58 year old man. One of our best couple friends is a 30-ish slave and a 60-ish master. I'm way cool with age differences. But your post was just plain icky. I think what I disliked about it was the indirectness. Not only does it read as manipulative but I generally associate the word "dominant" with a bit more courage and integrity than that.

All that being my best friend married her older man because he was a nice, honorable guy. The slave submitted to her master because he was a seriously extreme sadist and she wanted to take a wild ride down the masochism path. I suspect there's zillions of reasons why someone might find someone else worth getting involved with that don't involve compatible age brackets.

More power to you, OP, if you prefer younger women. As I say to all of y'all cradle robbers, you have the right to pursue anyone. However, there are a great many reasons why a woman would not want to be with a significantly older man, and none of those women owe you anything.

We all know what to expect when we play outside our own league.

Points well-taken "booklover13"... The post was not an attempt to foolishly state hard and fast rules, or even that a young girl/woman should seek-out an "older man" exclusively. I too, know many men who are wise at 25, and even wiser at 45. I also know, and I think you'd agree that there are alot of foolish men from 21-85 who never had a clue and are not actively searching for one. LOL I'ts really not about age at all. It's more about knowing who you are, what you want, how to get it, and having appreciation and respect for those that also know AND those that don't. :-)

Not to mention the wide sweeping generalizations. I know a lot of older guys that are absolutely immature and unable to keep a relationship going.

This is soooooo not true. Older men can - and do - make stupid mistakes. Age has nothing to do with maturity.

So, umm, what's the question?

There isn't one. He's just trying to convince young submissives to believe all of his reasons as to why they should accept an older man.

There wasn't a cloud in the sky today here in NJ so the likelihood that it "may" rain was very slim. But, if we are going to follow the line of logic that there needs to be no indication that a possibility may exist, well, then, I "may" be a millionaire!!

You know whenever this subject comes up where an older man wants a younger woman and tries to justify it, I like to inject this thought- if older men are so wonderful in so many ways then why aren't all men out there looking for older women? I mean look at the list you've got going there, all of the points would apply as well to an older woman, so why not look for that? Why are you here trying to win younger women over when it's obvious from all of your points that you should be looking for an older woman if you really wanted the quality companion?

So go out there and look for a women in her 60's or more to really set yourself up for all those fine qualities you mention in the above quote. I bet that you won't. I bet any of the men who try to justify their wonderful qualities as older men would never think to go the other way and pursue an older woman for their relationship. Hmmm, I bet it this concept of age bringing great rewards doesn't seem quite so attractive now when it's applied the other way around does it? So if you wouldn't do that, go for an older woman, why should a younger woman go for you, the older man?

There may be many reasons why a younger girl/woman may prefer to choose an older man.

And many reasons why they wouldn't.

quote:

Some of them can be because:

•They may be more matured and responsible.

Maybe, but may not be. I know many mature and responsible young people.

quote:

•Older men mostly have established careers or business which gives the financial stability and comforts a smart girl/woman desires.

They also usually have alimony or child support, so they are supporting two households, which means they can't afford that "comfort" you speak of.

quote:

•Older men tend to be more caring and may consider you more, and also be an authority figure in your life - who can and will take charge of things better.

That is because often, older men are more desperate, and if they are lucky enough to get a young girl, they bend over backwards to make sure she sticks around.

quote:

•They are more reliable and self-disciplined - compared to their young counterparts.

I wouldn't say that at all. They may be more reliable to their business and career, but that doesn't mean they are more reliable to their significant other. Young guys are looking to build something with someone, so they are self-disciplined and reliable to take the ride with someone else, rather than a young girl hopping on a ride that is nearly over.

quote:

•They also seem to be more devoted to their partners and their relationships, and normally do not run around flirting or sleeping around with several women.

Ever hear of "the seven year itch?" How about those male mid-life crisis? I have found that most older men who chase younger women are trying to recapture their youth. As for being more reliable....well, they are single, aren't they? So unless they are a widower, their previous relationships didn't work out. That is not more reliable.

quote:

•They are more sexually experienced and know how to please their partner and how they want to be pleased.

They may have more sex, but that doesn't mean they know how to please their partner. It means they could have been doing a crappy job all their lives, and no one ever taught them the right way to do things. It also means that their bad sexual habits are going to be a lot harder to fix.

quote:

•They may also be more knowledgeable about the 'lifestyle' and real life in general, because of their own experiences about what makes a real relationship work, and they usuall don't commit the stupid mistakes that younger men do.

They may have just discovered the lifestyle, so their knowledge could be less than a 25 year old who has read, practiced and fantasized for a while. Again, knowing what makes a real relationship work? Sorry, but if they did, they wouldn't be single. They are continuing to make the same stupid mistakes over and over.

quote:

•An older man may not need to be pleased sexually on a daily basis - which most woman consider as a positive thing.

Or he could have a prescription for viagra so he can prove to his young chippy that he still has it. Oh! Or he could WANT sex every day, but not be up to performing, so the poor girl ends up trying to suck a flacid penis every day. When he finally gets it up, he's finished in a minute.

quote:

•He also may not want children from you, as he might already have had some, or he may be more willing to secure yours, which is definitely a plus for a service-oriented woman.

This might be good for a woman who didn't want children, but many young women want to develop a relationship with a man and start a family with them. Holly Madison and Hugh Hefner split because she wanted a child and he didn't.

quote:

•He is more knowledgeable because of his age, and because of this wisdom, he can teach you, motivate you, guide you, control you, and make you feel more free to be yourself - safe, secure and confident.

Age doesn't know equal knowledge or wisdom.
