Status: offline 		Several great MPs ahead of John Major, but he is indeed the greatest living Prime Minister.

Oddly enough, while my list of favourite MPs during my adult lifetime include Thatcher, Major and Cable, it also includes Livingstone, Skinner and Tony Benn.

When Tony Benn goes - which can't be long now - I *know* that the 'looney-lefty' comments will explode. I'm quite fond of the old boy, but I honestly don't care what'd be said at his death, and I don't think he'd care either.

[I've just read his Wikipedia entry. It says that, according to polls, he's the most popular politician in the UK today. Gadzooks!]

so ya reckon gulags were prison camps used by right wing leaders to imprison communists?

I've been trying to imagine what their love child might be like. I found both the experience, and the probable progeny gruesome.
