First, I apologize for being short with you, and submandibular, for not recognizing you both as newbies to the boards, and being unaware of how often this subject is brought up for discussion. To be fair, it's your job as newbies, to seek out, and read FAQs, not so much as to not repeat questions, but more to give you a perspective to begin from. quote:
ORIGINAL: iamalive888 The concept which you fail to recognize? If you are tired of answering the question, don't answer the question. Being in a lifestyle that has a lot of misconceptions and a lot of newbies trying to understand, you should be more open to questions and trying to guide people. Maybe this just shows what a terrible teacher and leader you are. Maybe it doesn't. Always people complaining that they can't find good subs, but then bash ones that are trying to learn and educate themselves. Either way, a question was posed, some helpful, thoughtful information was shared, then there was the snarky "real" doms that decided to overtake and bash. You want good subs, but you don't want to assist anyone because it may take more than a couple minutes to answer a question. Having said the above, I will be fair and say that those of us who have been around a while, do tend to become curt regarding repetitive themes/questions, and we tend to often sarcastic, or at times unkind in our delivery, to the point of encouraging the newbie to run to the corner, and shut down your computer sometimes. I don't believe anyone was that harsh on this particular thread, but we were short on patience, while explaining that this is just one of those kinks, that people tend to hold moral superiority over, because of the false premise that relationships, money, and sex shall never meet. This therefore sparks a lot of arguments regarding it's ethics, morals, and acceptability.
