Lets see.. Deficit: Obama has created more deficit than Bush. More deficit than any other president, as a matter of fact. Also as a matter of fact more total deficit than all president up to Reagan combined. Education.. Bush screwed it up eh? Lets see. Graduation rates in NYC and DC have been what 60% for a generation? 67% of 4th graders can't read to grade level. 1/3 are illiterate. Yeah. It's bush's fault. Despite a). Schools have traditionally funded at the local and state levels. b). Bush increased federal funding. c). The no child left behind act was co sponsored by Ted Kennedy. You know. The arch conservative. As for ignoring the constitution - you mean like by making recess appointments when congress wasn't in recess, and getting spanked by the supreme court? As for speechwriting - you're right Bush didn't descend from mount Olympus and say that moment was the moment that we began to heal the planet.

What was debunked was that gun crimes didn't rise. It's true that gun crimes went down and most others didn't change. The claim, however, stated that violent crime would rise. And, in case you missed it, I clearly showed, graphically, that your own government statistics support the truth that violent crimes have increased since 1996. Violent crimes in the US are going down. Violent crimes Down Under are going up. Some like to claim that as gun ownership in the US has risen, crime rates have dropped and the opposite is occurring in Australia. While the numbers may show it, what can't be shown, is that the change in gun ownership is causing the change in crime rates.
