Alex bothers me because he is lieing asshole hypocrite, and that is me being nice. Everything he has posted on his webpage or broadcast on his radio show has been debunked by reporters, and private citizens. He makes his money feeding the paranoid minority in this country and could care less how many people his bullshit gets killed.

and the government makes their money by monopolizing, making war, and bringing everything conceivable under their purview ikn the name of "safety" (policing).

quote:

Well, I still trust the government. Lets be reasonable: The 8 million people employed by the US Government (I am one of them, by the way) are not all conspiring to rob, poison, kill or enslave the other 297 million.
yes they are and did but I wont get into that right now.
Many people are lazy but most are good, most people have good motives. That includes most people in the CIA, most people in the FBI, and most people in the Pentagon, the way I see it.

Individuals and small groups both inside and outside our government, motivated by fear, greed, laziness and illogical thinking, do occasionally manage to pull off some real conspiracies. Evil doings of secret groups sometimes stay hidden for many years, even many decades. We know this because people are caught, tried, and thrown in jail for conspiracy. We know this, because years later, the facts come to light. Here are ten real proven US government conspiracies:

That means NOT THEORY
OUT RIGHT CONSPIRACY

The conspiracy of 1865 to assassinate U.S. President Abraham Lincoln and members of his cabinet.

Tuskegee Syphilis Study ongoing from 1932 to 1972 knowingly killed hundreds of low-income African American men. U.S. Public Health Service wanted to experiment with the effects of untreated syphilis. Low-income African American men were lured into study with promise of free health care. Instead they were intentionally lied to and given placebo treatments. Even when they could have easily been saved by penicillin they were left to die for the benefit of the syphilis study program. Tuskegee Syphilis Study Source

Human Radiation Experiments.1944 to 1974. In 1995 the Advisory Committee on Human Radiation Experiments reported that over a 30-year period, the government sponsored, through several different agencies, thousands of human radiation experiments and several hundred intentional releases of radiation. To the question of whether similar abuses could occur again, particularly in the case of intentional releases, the committee gives “a qualified yes.” It notes that some agencies can still invoke national security considerations to waive consent requirements, that agencies are often responsible for their own oversight, and that environmental impact statements relating to classified projects are not available for public scrutiny.

The 1945 Operation Paperclip, the extraction of top Nazi scientists to the US. … the Nazi Intelligence leader Reinhard Gehlen met with the CIA director Allen Dulles. Dulles and Gehlen hit it off immediatly. Gehlen was a master spy for the Nazis and had infiltrated Russia with his vast Nazi Intelligence network. Dulles promised Gehlen that his Intelligence unit was safe in the CIA. As promised, Allen Dulles delivered the Nazi Intelligence unit to the CIA, which later opened many umbrella projects stemming from Nazi mad research. (MK-ULTRA / ARTICHOKE, OPERATION MIDNIGHT CLIMAX) Military Intelligence “cleansed” the files of Nazi references. By 1955, more than 760 German scientists had been granted citizenship in the U.S. and given prominent positions in the American scientific community. Many had been longtime members of the Nazi party and the Gestapo, had conducted experiments on humans at concentration camps, had used slave labor, and had committed other war crimes. -ca

MKULTRA is a CIA experiment where drugs were given to Americans without their knowledge or consent. This involved giving LSD, marijuana, barbiturates, heroine, mescaline, alcohol and more to unsuspecting people. … started in 1950 to study mind control and behavior modification. In 1973 Richard Helms head of the CIA deliberately destroyed all the records. MKULTRA Source

Operation Mockingbird was a CIA project created to control the domestic and foreign media [beginning in the 1950s.] They bribed well-known writers and journalists to write … slanted propaganda. The goal was primarily to bribe writers to write about the dangers of communism and suppress any left wing political writing. In 1976 George H.W. Bush the new director of the CIA announced that this activity will stop but they would welcome the voluntary unpaid cooperation of writers. Operation Mockingbird Source

Project SHAD was created by the United States Department of Defense in 1962. They intentionally exposed our military personnel with biological and chemical agents on 46 different occasions. This was done without the military personnel knowledge or consent. They wanted to experiment on how soldiers can be exposed to dangerous chemicals and continue to fight. This testing was conducted from 1962-1973. The Department of Defense refused to admit SHAD existed until 1998. Project SHAD Source

Operation Northwoods, or Northwoods, was a false flag conspiracy plan, proposed within the United States government in 1962. The plan called for CIA or other operatives to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Castro-led Cuba. One plan was to “develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington”. This operation is especially notable in that it included plans for hijackings and bombings followed by the use of phony evidence that would blame the terrorist acts on foreign governments. Osama Bin LadenOperation Northwoods was drafted by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and signed by then-Chairman Lyman Lemnitzer, and sent to the Secretary of Defense.

The Gulf of Tonkin Incident is the name given to two separate incidents involving naval forces of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam) and the United States in the waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. On August 4, 1964, the US government lied about war ships engaging North Vietnamese vessels in combat. In 2005, an official NSA declassified report stated. “[I]t is not simply that there is a different story as to what happened; it is that no attack happened that night.” The Gulf of Tonkin Incident prompted the first large-scale involvement of U.S. armed forces in Southeast Asia.

The Watergate scandals 1972 to 1974 during the presidency of Richard Nixon resulted in the indictment of several of Nixon’s closest advisors and ultimately his resignation on August 9, 1974. The scandal revealed the existence of a White House dirty tricks squad, which was behind an orchestrated campaign of political sabotage, an enemies list, a “plumbers” unit to plug political leaks and a secret campaign slush fund associated with CRP, all with high-level administration involvement. It brought into the open the involvement of Attorney General John N. Mitchell in the dirty tricks, funds and cover-up, as well as key White House advisers, all of whom went to prison for these crimes, for sentences of one to four years.

All of these proven conspiracies by people in positions of power in the US government over the span of over 100 years aren’t simply cases of evil. Rather, one group, believing it is serving the greater good, harms or attempts to harm another group and tries to hide it.http://xenophilius.wordpress.com/2008/09/20/ten-proven-us-government-conspiracies-and-why-i-still-trust-the-government/

One huge blind spot in human logic is that we are terrible with probabilities. Most people wrongly believe that when an event is dramatic it is also frequent.

The list easily goes to well over 100 proven government involved conspiracies. These people dont work for us.

Aside from being a fucking blowhard alex has great guests and great sources and most of what he brings to the table is tomorrows reality such as the patriot act etc long before they did it. He is the barking dog that at least alerts everyone that there is trouble around the corner. Anyone with a brain can see that these operations do nothing for the people and are not in our best interest, hence they are not working for us.

and how many people did the WMD bullshit get and continue to get killed?

so as per usual you dont do your homework or research very damn well jeff.

same shit different day.

pahunkboy -> RE: ALex strikes again (6/17/2013 8:48:35 AM)

real one- as you know I been gone from this board for 4 years.

When I was here 4 years ago- we had many of the same threads. While I have noticed a small improvement in the acknowledgement of conspiracies here- it is not commensurate with the progress the public has made. The general public is tuning into alex in more numbers- but on this board - most of it feels it is better to blame the GOP on todays woes.

I find that startling, and sad for our country. These same people are going to totally freak out- when the "it cant happen here" happens- and thats a fact. G*d help up.

mnottertail -> RE: ALex strikes again (6/17/2013 8:55:20 AM)

LOLOLOL. With all the tinfoil in one place, its gonna be easy to spot em.

Tazz- you know that some topics carry over to other threads- especially this one.

That was the last time you posted. That doesnt carry over to anything.

I see. I thought it was 4, because I purposely chose not to be here during the election cycle. I wanted to focus on what our activist group was doing- I met some great people. The cat is out of the bag now on the bike issue here- everyone is a criminal- is how the govt functions. Bike riding is technically a crime in this town. Agenda 21.

In the past- building 7 topics went on for pages on end. I have moved on from certain issues as the effort steals time from issues I choose to work on per that point in time.

This is a creative bunch- I hope I can learn things to effect my lifetstyle at the city and county level.

DomKen -> RE: ALex strikes again (6/17/2013 11:12:23 AM)

Agenda 21 would never forbid riding bikes. Agenda 21 is about sustainable development, i.e. building communities so walking and bike riding are viable alternatives to driving for most tasks.

Where did the other thread go??

Real0ne -> RE: ALex strikes again (6/18/2013 6:54:48 PM)

what happened to the conspiracy thread?

did it vanish down the black hole?

The reason this country is in such bad shape is that the banks made trillions of dollars of bad loans on everything from business start ups to home loans, and the bottom fell out.

The reason this country is in bad shape is because American companies would rather pay some poor slob in another country 50 cents a day instead of paying Americans a decent wage.

The reason this country is in such bad shape is because politicians, regardless of party, push their own agenda, and whatever agenda they are paid by lobbyists to push, and dont do a damn thing to actually improve this country in any way shape or form. They have let the infrastructure in this country deteriorate to the point that more than half the dams in this country are considered unsafe, most of the bridges are considered structurally unsound, and the highways are in such poor condition that you run the risk of blowing tires on fucking pot holes.

The reason this country, and most of the world, is in bad shape is because the masses cling to an obsolete, corrupt, bloated, and decaying system... a system based upon self-interest, artificial scarcity, and planned obsolescence.

I thought lobbyists and payoffs in some form was what good government was all about. its still a democracy because they still take a vote at some point. no one else is interested anyway. people around here dont seem to mind institutionalized corruption.

I'd wait till the documentary comes out and people can take a look at what ever evidence these guys can present. The questions would be who and why didn't they take credit for the attack (terrorism isn't effective if no one knows it was terrorism).

DS, ya beat me to that one.
Ken, who says it was terrorism and not a military accident?
The latter would fit in a lot better with the facts as stated in the article. Our government is all too eager to scream "Terrorist attack" but they're really reluctant to own up to their own mistakes.

A few points:

First an accidental shoot down by US military ships.
1) While there were naval ships in the area, none of the civilian radars picked up a missile track, which makes a surface launch unlikely.

2) There were no military fighter aircraft with air to air missiles in the vicinity of of Flight 800, and an accidental lock and fire by an aircraft is almost impossible.

3) There were no passengers on the flight that would have been worth killing a plane load of people to eliminate.

Surface shoulder fired anti aircraft missile.

1) Flight 800 was at an altitude that was out of the range of shoulder fired missiles.

Bomb
1) Given the evidence, a bomb is just as likely as a fuel tank explosion.

2) No group has come forth claiming responsibility.

Now the NTSB investigators re-interviewed the witnesses claiming to have seen a missile fired from the surface and found them credible. However, for a surface launched missile to hit the aircraft, it would have to be a long range ship or ground based missile. Some terrorist firing a stinger from a motorboat would fall short.

I agree a fuel tank explosion that had not happened before and has not happened since, while possible, seems a bit too pat. While there were intense inspections of 747's after the incident, some with more hours than flight 800, I never saw a report of any of these aircraft having wire chaffing bad enough to have caused this kind of explosion, unless someone paid to minimize the results of those inspections.

For the record, there have been a lot of credible witnesses that did not see what they thought they saw.

pahunkboy -> RE: ALex strikes again (6/20/2013 11:53:46 AM)

Early on they said that flight 800 was a missile. No shock there.

SilverMark -> RE: ALex strikes again (6/20/2013 11:56:08 AM)

I grew up in the town that has the Amtrak facility sitting on it's border, a number of my friends fathers were Amtrak execs and one's father was the head of the facility, all BULLSHIT! A lot of passenger cars that need refurbished, locomotives, and a large train yard to the North, not much else.

To the best of my knowledge there are no military facilities at the end of the JFK runways. So you're positing a soldier with a shoulder fired AA missile just happened to be there, just happened to lock the jet and accidently fired the weapon? That's just so incredibly unlikely I can't believe you even suggested it.
