Status: offline 		LOL... I posted this morning and forgot to add this... remember I am overweight, BBW, fat ass... whatever you want to call it... but I am chipping in a nickel to add to the 2 cents I posted this morning...  

Here are just a few of the rude fat comments I've heard in the past few months, and some of the responses I've tried.




"You're fat!"






Yes I am -- thanks for noticing!


Is THAT what this stuff on my hips is? Who knew?


Damn, you're perceptive. Did you figure that out by yourself, or did someone help you with that?






"You really should lose weight."






You really should mind your own business.


As long as my doctor says I'm healthy, I'm fine.


Thanks, I'll take that into consideration. (this gets rid of them quickly)






"You don't need to eat that."






Maybe not, but you sure need to learn some manners!


I may not NEED to, but I WANT to.


I decide what I eat and when. Thanks anyhow.






"If you lost some weight, you'd (insert unrealistic promise)."






If I lost weight, I'd lose my cleavage.


If you had a brain, you'd realize how stupid that sounded.


If I was a guy, we wouldn't be having this conversation.






"My, you've put on weight!"






And I see you haven't changed a bit.


My, how rude you've gotten!


Are you always this complimentary, or is this a special occasion?






"Look at yourself!"






Why? Do I have food stuck in my teeth?


When was the last time YOU looked in the mirror?


With that cheap toupee (weave, mustache, face, etc.), you're telling ME to look at myself?






"Fat pig ."






Do you talk to your mother with that mouth?


Do you practice every day, or were you born this tacky?


You must be mistaken. The last time I looked, I didn't have a tail.






"If you didn't eat so much, you wouldn't be so fat."






Are you the food police?


Most large people don't eat any differently than thin people.


If you didn't talk so much, you wouldn't be so stupid.


Have you been looking in my windows and watching me eat again?






"Maybe if you got a little exercise, you wouldn't be so fat."






How often do YOU work out?


Contrary to popular belief, you CAN be fit and fat.


Maybe if you learned some manners, you wouldn't be so rude.






A few all-purpose respsonses to fat remarks:






Damn, how RUDE!


Go pick on someone your own size.


I'm big -- there's more of me to love!


My mama taught me better manners than that.
Remember, you don't have to make excuses or explanations for your weight. People who make insulting remarks about your body are just plain rude! It's time to start sticking up for ourselves, and pointing the finger back at the fools who try to put us down.

Because honestly....he didn't make a statement of any kind....he simply asked a question. He didn't say "There are too many overweight women at bdsm events". He didn't say "I don't like overweight women". He didn't say "Women at bdsm events should all be forced to diet". Those would be statements. He simply asked a question. People allowed their own sensitivities to come into play. He is not responsible for that. His question was generic....and people chose to personalize it.

Enigmabrat, I agree with Erin. Stop personalizing it. No one said YOU are fat. No one said that YOU need to lose weight. Why are YOU so offended by this? Relax, calm down and think straight. This isnt about YOU.

Ahh, sixstrokes [ and by the way... just exactly to what does your name refer?  Hopefully not your sexual prowess!  Unless you consider six strokes more than a woman's fair share, of course.] ... for professing to have a 'reasonable build' you don't do us the favor of pasting your picture on the web.  Offering the lame excuse that collarme wouldn't accept your photos is pretty funny.  I would guess that this is a posting of a man who can't attract the "skinny" girls he can abuse, and certainly would be scared of trying to dom some of the larger women who might just kick your dumb ass if you asked that question of them directly.

I have noticed several times during this thread thin people being called "bag o bones" and "no cushion for the pushin'" and I have yet to see any skinny girls coming forward and defending themselves or their skinniness. Could it be that they just didnt take offense to those terms? Who knows, but the point is, there is no reason to take his question so personally.
As you can clearly see, I am an overweight woman. Notice that I did not say I am a BBW? I don't use that term because I dont feel that I am beautiful. I am a big woman with pretty eyes lol I suppose I could be called BPEW lol (Big Pretty Eyed Woman).
 
Edited to add: I have seen the OP flamed more by the very folks who claim that he is offending, then I have seen him flame anyone. Interesting.

There is another thread on the board about underweight subs and slaves. I find it very interesting that none of the behavior that has occurred on this thread can be found on that one.

i've commented ... yet i'm one of those skinnies who hasn't stepped forward in defense of my skinniness. i haven't felt any real need to. i haven't been offended. i haven't been because i don't place much weight with the opinion of those who would make such statements and also because i'm not selfconcious about being extremely thin, and so i refuse to allow myself to take the statements personally.  i used to be selfconcious because i used to allow others the power to make me feel that way about myself. i hope that is expressed clearly enough as it's the closest i can get to explaining where i am at with my feelings regarding the subject on a personal level.
 
i like the your attitude regarding this topic of discussion. If you can be a BPEW ... i'll think about being the PSSS (petite/silky/skinned/slave).

Disclaimer: First person who mispronounces it as 'piss' is going to get beat hard over the head with a very skinny size 4 flip flop.

The reason for the differences in behavior most likely stems from the public treatment.  Thin women are not treated as poorly as larger women in public.  Society commands us to be thin or be ostracized; everyone who can watch TV only sees thin actors (unless you watch Univision - then you just see cleavage ).  No one says "I want to be FAT!", but you hear many say, "I want to be THIN!".

If we could all turn off our damn TVs, we would be much happier.

At 6 ft tall, the weight charts start are 149-160 for a small frame male, 157-170 for a medium frame male and 164-188 a large frame male. Unless you have a large frame, meaning your elbow is wider than 3 3/18ths inches, you yourself are at least ten pounds overweight. (You can determine your frame size by using the directions on this website http://www.healthchecksystems.com/heightweightchart.htm#frame ) Just thought I'd point that out.

Now.. why exactly did you feel the need to mention anyone's body size? If they aren't your preference, move on. You want a certain body type, buy her. There are quite a few women out there who are for sale. Don't whine about it in a forum unless you're trying to make sure we all realize that you are a fat bigot. Personally, I don't feel looks, age, body size, breast size or penis size have a thing to do with the ability to submit deeply and beautifully. Perhaps when you actually do some more growing you'll realize that.

Status: offline 		I can honestly say I don't say "I want to be thin"...I am happy being me just the way I am and I have no trouble finding men who find me attractive. 

Yes...the media does tend to put too much into the whole "thin is in" thing...but I don't watch much t.v. and when I do....the cartoons could careless if I am fat or not.

I think you need to go back and read the entire thread.

Answer me this: where in the OP does it say he doesn't like overweight women?

You have obviously never hung out with Doll and her twin sister. They are the ones who are surrounded by men. EVERYTIME, and neither one of them are thin, pretty yes, but thin? No.
