Funny thing about Gor...women learn to shoot faster and more accurately than men, in fact, men are VASTLY harder to teach to shoot well or handle firearms correctly.  I wonder if the same is true of swords...

My ex shot everything up to crew served weapons (MG34 and MG42, plus MKIIS sten) and I tought her how to outshoot everyone around us.

I repeat: make love, not war.

Could it be that gurrrlzzzz are silly and therefore better at playing with toys? Guns do enter the 'toys' category, don't they?

I have a water Kalashnikov. And I aim like a boy :-)

Your post reminded me of this:

Five Paces Behind

Barbara Walters of 20/20 (ABC Television) did a story on gender roles in Kabul, Afghanistan, several years before the Afghan conflict. She noted that women customarily walked 5 paces behind their husbands.

She recently returned to Kabul and observed that women still walk behind their husbands. From Ms. Walters's vantage point, despite the overthrow of the oppressive Taliban regime, the women now seem to walk even further back behind their husbands and are happy to maintain the old custom.

Ms. Walters approached one of the Afghani women and asked, "Why do you now seem happy with the old custom that you once tried so desperately to change?"

The woman looked Ms. Walters straight in the eyes and without hesitation said “Land mines."

When I first heard this one was in 1959 or so and the locale was China after WWII

Your poll is broken.  You're asking 2 different questions and don't allow for multiple selections.

~stef

It doesn't look broken to me . I'm asking four questions, and those four cover the range of my interest, stef. Maybe someone would like a third poll? I dunno....

Hi Lev. How STRANGE you found this on the *clears throat prettily* Gor Bored.

I don't own a gun, never have, never will, and I don't see why it is an inherent 'right' to own one at all. We all know the arguments in favour of the banning of gun ownership in the US.

Hello kitten . "Strange" eh? lol...... ohh, I roam everywhere, and find good and bad in every place I go.

I own several guns and I know how to use them.
It is my belief that every woman should own a gun and know how to use it for protection.

Waoh, and you're a poet too! 'Fleur resiliente': beautiful, thank you.

I am crimson like a rose, blushing like a flower in bloom, and welting with the exhaustion of listening to gun fanatics. But I am not giving up! Thank you, thank you *bows deeply*.

There once was a crackhead gone rabid
Who could no longer afford his habit

He thought he was slick
Breaking doors down for kicks
And taking it if he could grab it

He made a mistake
When he came to my gate
Thinking what's mine he could have it

He didn't expect
What happened next
That left him to hop like a rabbit

I aimed carefully
And took out his knee
With a 12 guage buffalo sabot
