And the biggest irony and most jaw dropping aspect of this racially charged case is that it isn't even white on black-it's Hispanic on black.
Really, it has zip to do with white folks entirely :-)

If my neighbor's football playing teen-ager is bashing my head against the concrete on the curb and I'm armed, he's a dead man.

You do know that was pop warner football don't you and not High School?

At 14 my son weighed 300, played defensive tackle and could have twisted Zimmerman"s head off.

The team picture they showed that got everyone talking about the scary football player got me thinking as I used to coach wrestling and football down there. There was and still is no HS team that matched his jersey. There is, however a Pop Warner team down there in his neighborhood that did.

So basically some of the folks were talking about this big mean-assed football player when he was really playing pop warner because he was too fucking scrawny for HS ball.

I didn't think pop warner went to 17.
And when someone bounces your head off the pavement you don't ask for credentials.

See food diet if he could see it he would eat it.

Doesnt seem the lawyers agree with the "only the facts, Ma'am" attitude you have.

Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara, said Thursday that jurors must use common sense gained from their lives to reach a verdict. "Our experiences give us common sense," he said, adding that the experiences shouldn't create bias toward either side.

Assistant State Attorney Bernie de la Rionda made a similar statement when describing how jurors will decide whether Zimmerman justifiably killed Martin, 17. "You use your God-given common sense," he said.

For tackle football, Pop Warner stops at age 14 - 15.

Yes as Martin jumped on top of him. It would seem to Zimmerman that Martin was driving his head into the ground. I have stated repeatedly (in other threads) that I see this as a great tragedy, not a crime.

He is doing fine.
His football came to an end because he refused to play for a racist coach (klanophile) and the next school only played 8 man.

Forensics has yet to testify, correct?

I think many are assuming his injuries means someone repeatedly drove Z's head into the concrete. That's not the injury I see. A fractured skull, a concussion.... those would say that had happened, not two small lacerations and a few bumps.

Considering the jury is made up of 5 white women and one hispanic, and the only other person of "color" is a hispanic male as an alternate, yes, I do think its stacked. Like OJ's was. I also think many of those women think like I do. The jury decision will determine if I am correct. [;)]
