I am not very experienced with blow jobs and I am hoping to get some advice on how to work through a really strong gag reflex and maybe some tips on how to get better at them. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.

When mine really bothers me, I lay on my back, my head off the edge of the mattress. Means a bit of work for the guy... but I havent had one complain about it yet.

Thanks tazzygirl. I will try that when I get the chance. It is something I enjoy doing, but haven't had much opportunity for lately since I have been single for quite some time and my last serious man didn't like oral sex at all.

Starting off knowing that you gag can make things uncomfortable, so you really need to relax. Some men like women to gag! lol Enjoy yourself, but also pay attention to how a man moves. Anticipate how he will move if you can and he isn't being forceful with you. You may ask him to help you in this area. If you are in control it can be easier to deal with a gag reflex. Some of this depends on why you are gagging. Is it physical or psychological. If it is psychological, you need to learn to like giving a blow job and face whatever your fears or distaste stem from. If it is physical, you may need to practice and that will help or you may never get over it. I have issues with gagging when I have tummy issues. Weird, but I am what I am. lol Good luck.

Rawni. Thank you for your reply. It is a physical thing for me mostly. I guess it is something I will just have to practice and work through. I have issues with it even when I am brushing my teeth so it is going to take a lot of work. That is why I asked if anyone had tips on things that make it easier to work through :-). Does breathing through your nose and concentrating on the pleasure you are giving things that help?

lol I didn't understand it either, but he was from Jamaica and said he just never liked it... It blew my mind too but there you have it hehe.

Turn the thinking off to some degree, at least thinking about that aspect of it. Tell yourself... yummy... oh I got this... he is going to love this... watch me go! Learn to surprise him... do a deep dip when he doesn't expect it. Of course that may make him want to cram it down your throat... but learn to maneuver a bit until you can manage it. Breathing can help, but relaxing is the key. Enjoy what you're doing and let him know, because sometimes when a person gags, they clamp down and most guys won't appreciate that. Might just scare the hell out of them. ROFL

Do a lot of doms expect their subs to already be good at blow jobs? I mean if they have to teach me is it going to feel like too much trouble?

FR Learn how to breathe through your nose. Also, when you brush your teeth, let your brush roam past the point of being comfortable. It will help you get your gag reflex under control.
