Well, I'd hate to see you miss out on some great experiences around the country... IIRC the old 'retreat to the wall' requirement (that created the SYG backlash) has been pretty much dismantled as well, leaving SYG, castle doctrine, etc. as a de facto situation almost nationwide. Some states have gone farther with the presumptive threat laws, which can be very problematic ala Joe Horn in Texas and the Japanese student in Louisiana... I'm not crazy about those states either. Florida is OK though, I had lots of fun in Miami last summer. . quote:
