A financial domme can't be dominant because she asks for money that most likely doesn't have. Financial independence is power.

What about when the Domme then gets money from someone…who's the one in power after the transaction? Didn't think that one through did you…? [8|] That's the basis of the whole financial power exchange there in a nutshell and why submissive men get off on it.

There are probably under 100 women in the entire world whose primary source of income is online financial domination. Everyone else is doing it part-time in order to get wet while making some spending money, or it's one part of a multi-pronged sexwork strategy (such as multiple themed phone lines on Niteflirt).

I don't intend to lengthen an already lengthy topic, but I just wanted to volunteer the perspective of a man with a financial domination fetish. I beg to tribute findommes who have the unique combination of intelligence, eloquence, and good looks (fairly specific for my fetish) that I view as being an unattainable goddess. I tribute because I view them as being powerful and deserving of my money and because I derive a specific pleasure from clicking "complete purchase" or "tribute" and sending them my money.

Many findommes aren't good at satisfying my fetish. They're great at asking for money, never exploring, and disappearing after they confirm an Amazon purchase or tribute. They're on the low end of the spectrum. A findomme who excels can cause me to obsess for days over a single message, review over and over again an Amazon wishlist for things I can buy, and curtail my own purchases to save for her. I buy her something, and I'm immediately thinking about the next thing to buy her. It's a beautiful, pleasurable, and painful obsession.

I'm willing to provide the perspective of a money slave because allegations that (true) findommes are anything but legitimate dommes are simply uninformed.

Oh thank god. An intelligent finsub, who knows what he is and what he wants. Welcome to the forums, shinsfan, and please, please stick around.

ppst... I think you'll find that with a fair number of financial dommes, there's a queue of dudes, begging to give them money.

Where's the power balance there?

Does that also mean that a dom cannot be dominant unless (s)he is wealthy? Or does (s)he only need to have a bit more money than the one(s) subbing to him/her?

TNDommeK -> RE: Financial Domination / What are your thoughts & Why ? (12/2/2013 5:48:32 AM)

I'm so happy he chimed in!!
I wish Roch's thread was still open!
And I agree with the rest of you...stick around!!!

Those fin dommes who disappear after a purchase aren't
fin dommes at all. They are what we call fin ducks. They're only out for a quick gift or buck.
Now I'm not knocking them but that's not at all what fin domming is about.
What's the purpose of having a fin slave go to waste like that?

Before all the labels, we(doms, subs, etc) are people first. Intellect and the ability to actually speak and type
up a decent email helps. Hell, I can't read half these little girl's (fin ducks) profiles.
They use ThI$ tYp3 of L3tT3ring. Jeez that almost killed me typing that crap.
That was one of my points on the "legit" thread, I do have relationships with my subs. Even if that's
Exchanging emails, getting to know him. Whatever the case might be.
That's important to me. Just getting stuff I want and nothing else is just empty.

So I rarely post to this forum but I had a few personal thoughts that I wanted to express and get some feedback on...I am open to all comments and great conversation...Please leave ignorance and arrogance out of this...Thanks for reading in advance...

I am a lifestyle Domme who has recently reached out towards the FinDom community...I find that the FinDom community is more suitable for my needs and more so fits with what I enjoy...I personally have been a Dominant for many years but recently just decided to try the online aspect of the lifestyle...& FinDom just made it so much more enjoyable for ME...What Goddess doesn't enjoy being spoiled?...but I understand that there are scam artist who take advantage of people but what one indulges in is their business and if they choose to do very little homework on someone they plan on embarking on a journey such as a D/s relationship with seems like a personal silly mistake on their behalf...

From my personal experience I have come across some great people and have had very good feedback. So far it has been a really awesome experience but I have noticed that on this site in particular there are a great deal of FinDom haters...lol...Meaning they do NOT agree with the way I or others choose to live our lives and they feel the need to voice their opinion...Where I get confused is because all of these individuals have been subs...Contacting ME to be of service to ME but they only want to serve ME the way they want to lololololll when did this start happening...?

Ignorant as ever...how can you be of proper use to anyone with a closed mind and a big mouth? ... Also who applies for a job they do NOT want ? Anywho I have gotten very used to weeding through the B.S. and have learned that people will be people and to NOT take anything personal....

But the way I see it is Domination is Domination...A power Exchange is a Power Exchange...but that is the Power Exchange I enjoy most...and to ME as long as the Domme and sub have the proper agreement suitable to their liking the relationship can be very fulfilling...Many people have different fetishes, needs, wants, etc...I have learned that despite a particular group of individuals and/or any titles a D/s relationship is all about finding a great match where both parties get the most out of one another...

What are your thoughts on this topic...?

You lost me about halfway through and, as I dissected your sputum, it just got worse.

You started out so lovely, seeking advice, interest, curiosity and then...you drifted off into why others (who don't share your beliefs) are fucked up (and don't share your views).

Here's the deal; Women that suck the life out of men because (they) are inherently gorgeous are a succubus. You are a viper.

There are men that thrill to hand off money to a woman (incredibly, women they've never met...but, I know, having spoken to some who are into this...it is in fact, a thrill).

And for those men...I'm as thrilled for them but...some of you suck the life out of men.

Because they're weak....and you know their weaknesses.

A woman who likes you will give you a back rub. Otherwise, go pay a masseuse. The reason someone becomes a masseuse has nothing to do with whether or not massage should or should not be allowed.

A masseuse provides a service that is honest and tangible. I doubt that there are many (or any) sub men who want to be "financially dominated" for reasons other than frustration and desperation to get anyone. Of course there is a tiny percentage of people who have that specific fetish, but the prevalence of "fin dommes" makes it obvious that the majority of them are clear cut scammers. They are not interested in D/s of any kind - they simply want money and they found a vulnerable crop of people to fleece.

ORIGINAL: evesgrden
But let's say you're right in some sense that satisfies your moral indignation. Go police the internet now and makes sure that everyone knows that "financial domination" shouldn't exist in the kink realm. How are you going to enforce it when the free sites happen to survive because there's a demand for it, and the clientele also end up supporting those sites?

Perhaps there should be a site specifically for financial domination? That would weed out a lot of the people who are not in anyway into the D/s lifestyle, but simply want to mooch off of the gullible. There are very few things that raise red flags on my "moral indignation" radar. There are men who enjoy being fucked with a strap-on. I fail to understand why any straight man would want anything to do with a phallic object, but it is a fetish for many so it's not something that concerns me. But the proliferation of extortionists is an entirely different matter and that's something that should be counteracted.

You're just pissed off that those pics you find attractive, with descriptions which imply no strings and you can straight from"hello" to "fetish play" belong to findommes.

Did you really expect to find women anywhere who are just waiting for some guy, any guy, and then they'll say indiscriminately "Oh FINALLY.. a horny guy who wants kink... You know how long I've been waiting for someone like that to come along? Bend over and let's get started!!!!!"

Seriously?

That's a bunch of unfounded projection with a heap of strawmen on the side. No point in dignifying that with an answer.

You want fetish without a relationship, open your wallet.

I am not a sub so this doesn't directly concern me, but it does matter to me indirectly because it impacts the state of the fetish community as a whole. I have nothing against people exchanging money for sexual services. It's called prostitution and I have nothing against it. Despite its illegality in some puritan countries, there is nothing wrong with an honest exchange of goods and services. "Honest" being the key word here.

This is such a silly, and ill-informed thing to say. It does rather make you look as if you haven't the first fucking clue what you're talking about.

There are heaps and heaps of men that get off on FD... heaps of them. I mean loads and loads.

SilverMark -> RE: Financial Domination / What are your thoughts & Why ? (12/3/2013 4:59:04 AM)

Although I don't understand the whole kink involved, as many financial Dommes' as I see on Cm, there must be demand for their services.

TNDommeK -> RE: Financial Domination / What are your thoughts & Why ? (12/3/2013 8:10:49 AM)

Of course there is. And dare I say there is a demand for the scammers as well that mask themselves as FD.

Let's use a simple analogy. There are tons of people who try to scam others on the internet (intrusive adware for example). Does that mean there are a lot of people out there who want to use their services?

xxblushesxx -> RE: Financial Domination / What are your thoughts & Why ? (12/6/2013 4:53:25 AM)

Considering that there are definitely men who write to and call findoms begging to be used, your analogy is invalid.

Oh for heaven sakes.

In order to get scammed you have to be tricked or swindled or cheated in some way. If someone says that a good or service comes with a fee, there's no scam.

Let me repeat...

There's no scam.

We get that you don't like to pay. Fine... don't. But it's not a scam if you are informed up front.

There is a demand for pay for play. And whining about it won't change that.

Spoken with a great big dollop of intelligent reasoning. If you don't like something, don't read about, don't get involved. Simple.
