K, in case you don't know what you're up against: As a sub male, there's quite a high chance that you already feel like a failure, a loser and very much 'less than a real man'. When you come across women who seem to value you - but, later, show that they only value you for your wallet - you can feel a wave of hate for them, plus a whole new wave of hatred for yourself. You think to yourself, 'Eh? I love her as a goddess, and that's actually a contemptible thing in her eyes, so contemptible that I should pay her for what she sees as a perversion?' It can, and does often, feel very, very low and ugly to be a sub-male. I wouldn't underestimate that. Myself, I have a tough hide, and I've developed the ability to see a particular woman as both a goddess, and a dickhead, at the same time. But it took a long time for me to get where I am now.

I can understand that perspective, Peon, but it is no different than the men we come across who seem to value us but later show they only value us for the kink or sex. We think to ourselves that he treats "other" women like women but treat Dommes as the freak to cure his perversion. I don't see Dommes coming to this site asking that we somehow try to ban the men who run "that" particular game. (And trust me there are TONS of them that try to run that game on us). Most of us just suck it up and move on or have a good laugh about it with the other women. You may think its different, but most women will tell you, its exactly the same.

Yes, financial independence IS POWER....but you are assuming ALL financial Dominants don't have full-time professional careers elsewhere. Don't confuse the irritating barely-of-age girls and the I-need-you-to-pay-my-rent-before-I'm-evicted "fin-Dommes" with fully independent, educated, self-reliant Dominant women who have careers, houses, and who are actually fully qualified to STRUCTURE and MANAGE your money and your spending habits (a good D/s relationship benefits BOTH D & s). There are several of the latter that contribute regularly to these forums. If you'd been paying attention you would have spotted them by now. Financial Domination used to freak Me out too, but after getting to know some of these finDommes and some of the subs who are into it, I discovered that when it's done RIGHT it's actually not a BAD thing. Remember, the fin-subs are just as responsible for allowing abuses to occur as the bad finDommes are. When financial subs jump in headlong, blindly throwing money at women's feet and refuse to acknowledge red flags they really have only themselves to blame for being the fools. Even as a Dominant I find there is a high level of objectification coming from the so-called "submissivle" males, many of whom aren't even AWARE they are doing it because there is such a high degree of mental programming done by society and the media . Why do they think We feel We must interview and cull so extensively?
