Exactly right.

Apex fallacy comes to mind.

Eh? I had you down as a rightie bumlicker, Nick. Have you broken out of that?

naughtynick81 -> RE: What do you see as a "men's" issue? (9/26/2013 2:35:22 AM)

It's a men's issue when feminists try to stop men from creating support groups for their gender.

Rigid Campus Feminism: Is It Forever?

I wonder if the spoilt privileged feminist brats will try to stop this one?

They've been so spoilt by society always listening to them and kowtowing their bogus theories that it seems they feel their precious victim status will be threatened if there is any consideration for male issues.

How selfish can a bunch of bigoted fuckwits get? They want to hog the centre of the stage and expect everyone to hear out female issues while not wanting to hand the microphone to someone who wants to tell the other side of the story.

These feminists expect everything to be all about women while trampling on any consideration for men.

If what they did last time isn't an act of female chauvinism, what is?

It's disgusting how MRAs are now expected to pay security due to the threat of feminist violence.

It's so ironic how feminism is always complaining about violence when they use exactly that in such protest to silence MRA meetings.

Nice to know the status of men.

Move over, abortion — men’s issues are the new taboo topics on campus

So feminism is allowed on campus but not men's rights.

Feminist/female privilege anyone? So funny how they keep claiming women to be the underprivileged.

Allowing one genders issues to be heard and not the other is undeniable bigotry.

Since when did college campuses regain their titles as bastions of free speech?

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: What do you see as a "men's" issue? (9/27/2013 10:12:28 PM)

Since never, but claiming they have makes for a good sound-byte.

Interesting how I stumbled onto this forum by accident. As an outsider, what comes to mind is Shadow Boxing. With Paper Tigers (or would that be Straw Dogs? *sigh, the hour grows late*).

tazzy, it's commendable for you to compile a list of Men's Issues without getting derailed in the process. We all have issues. We can strive to achieve an equitable ideal across the board, but realistically, what are the odds of that ever happening in the real world? Focusing on Men's Issues vs. Women's Issues can only lead to further polarization. What drives the modern machine is Economics, and this affects every single man, woman & child on the face of this planet each & every livelong day. All else is a diversion, a smokescreen within a house of mirrors.

Joe Blow who thinks with his dick (which I will concede not all males do) has become habituated to practice diversionary tactics for his own self-indulgence. Grown women who were indoctrinated as young girls into a Disney-esque fairy tale culture live in a fantasy world where they ride off into the sunset with Prince Charming. (I'm still waiting for him to suddenly materialize, as a matter of fact. Better not hold my breath.) As global citizens it is our responsibility to look out for one another, our fellow human beings, for the strong to uplift the weak, not prey upon them; for the powerful to protect the powerless, one person at a time. Six degrees of separation.

(as for PHYSICAL shadow boxing, women in the south americas, in central america, and the antipodes perform better and make better use of the practice than men, pound for pound)

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: What do you see as a "men's" issue? (9/28/2013 12:03:13 AM)

Lol, the "service unavailable" for my pic as a double entendre for a men's issue of their favourite Lady of the Night who throw's them a free one 9because the Lady in question is sub and picky) is a perfect example of a REAL men's issue rather than what a female poster might like to have "verified" as a men's issue.

LOVE that.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: What do you see as a "men's" issue? (9/28/2013 12:05:50 AM)

whoops! pic came back right after posting! like female partners who want NOTHINNNNNNNNNNNNNG to do with you, and tell you they'll neverrrrrrrr have anything naughty to do you with you again, and you say "fine, that'll let me deal with my DEADLINES, at least", and then....

a phone call.

"Hey. You okay? Wanna talk?"

yeah. THAT'S a men's issue, frankly.

naughtynick81 -> RE: What do you see as a "men's" issue? (9/28/2013 2:38:33 AM)

Nobimbos

I can define it as a male issue if there is a woman where if an undesirable man gives her attention, it's considered creepy, sleazy, rapey, stalker-like, while if the man is desirable, all them negative prejudices drop.

naughtynick81 -> RE: What do you see as a "men's" issue? (9/28/2013 2:39:56 AM)

Kinda like if the average guy thought a woman's feet were hot, it would probably be considered creepy to the woman. If a Brad Pitt clone thought the same, that fear wouldn't be there.

FR It says a lot when using ones personal likes n dislikes and mental issues as being a singular gender issue, that there is nothing more intelligent to report.

Or... an example of the fantasy world (inspired by Disneyesque fairy tale culture) that women have been indoctrinated with.

Lucylastic -> RE: What do you see as a "men's" issue? (9/28/2013 3:42:18 AM)

hope is now a fantasy world?
what about peace?
We should harden ourselves to compassion and love, friendship and good in the world?
Thanks not me, the day I do that is the day I will shovel off this mortal coil.

jola37 -> RE: What do you see as a "men's" issue? (9/28/2013 3:50:52 AM)

metamorfosis, I think the comment is meant for all human beings, male and female, to look out for each other.

I know. I'm saying that sounds like the kind of romantic fantasy she was criticising women for swallowing earlier in the same quote.

I can go with the standard of "fairness, or absence of discrimination". I'm just not sure I can get behind the banner of "the powerful protecting the weak", etc... at least not without tacking on some pretty serious qualifications.

No, just unbridled altruism.

That we have to deal with women.
