ORIGINAL: VideoAdminChi I'll take this opportunity to mention that we don't go looking for trouble in P&R - we mostly just respond to tickets or something we see on the scroll. Furthermore, I looked at the tickets I sent you in the past 6 months and actually agreed with the sentiments in 3/5 of them. I truly believe that I don't pull posts due to bias - I pull them because they violate the rules. Some posters with whom I agree ideologically are my biggest critics. I'm often pained about what I have to pull...or what I have to leave. While all of this sounds very nice and PC, I think you're taking this awfully personally. The issue is (and has been, for quite some time) the editorial slant of the moderation policies. No one is blaming any specific moderator (although if you can truly be objective, you'd be a marvel of nature). The problem is; that you have (and have had) people of a particular bent as moderators and it shows through in the policies that get "created"/enforced. WTF? What policies around here have a left leaning bias? A preponderance of participants are left wingers. This means that most likely a preponderance of whiners are left wingers (just on demographics) this could create an appearance of bias (more complaints = more tickets distributed among a smaller population) I personally have not been "victimized" (that I know of) by leftist mods I will note that I recently found out, in response to a very racist series of posts, that once a post has been reported by anyone it accepts no more reports on that post so there is no liberal pile on on objectionable right wing posts. Now it may be true that there are more leftists who post here, even taking into the "moderate independents," but as far as I know the right wingers who have gotten bans were truly unpleasant rule breakers who got lots of chances before getting the boot.
