Ya know, it's kinda hard to take over the health system in a free country by telling the truth.

That insurance companies are not on a first name bassis with the truth is hardly breaking news[8|]

The bill was not just created for those who are economically poor or those with pre-existing conditions. Since the healthcare concepts came directly from the Republicans at the end of the last century; it

Yet Obama, I'm sorry, President Obama touts the lack of heath care for the poor and the inability to get insurance for preexisting conditions as key selling points for his plan along with the ability for anyone to keep their insurance and their doctor.
The second point tries to place responsibility for Obamacare failings at the feet of the GOP as if taking a state scope healthcare law and plan signed by a GOP Governor for a bi-partisan state senate makes this a GOP concept and BTW that effort uses about 40 percent of the State tax income. Imagine that on a National scale, wait...that actually is the Dem plan I suppose, so never mind.

The person responsible for governing this country.

That's patently false.

The President isn't in charge of hiring all American Citizens; never has and never will. Outside of Government positions, government isn't in charge of hiring Americans, either.

Businesses in America are in charge of hiring qualified American Citizens (and legal residents). That someone isn't qualified for a job that pays more isn't up to those businesses, however.

In many cases, it's the fault of those not earning enough to pay taxes.

In some cases, it's simply very bad circumstances/luck that more earnings are not possible (ie. elderly, physical/mental handicaps, etc.).

I agree. He who governs this nation, with his cabinet level Department of Commerce, "promotes job creation, economic growth, sustainable...". You get the picture, he is in charge and responsible for the actions of a cabinet level department whose sole purpose is to promote the economic growth necessary to support us and our tax base. He who governs is responsible. "the buck stops here".

Any validation for this moronic unsubstantiated opinion?

mnottertail -> RE: OBAMA LIED!!! (11/5/2013 9:22:47 AM)

They promote it, but the military-industrial complex is not interested in accepting that given our current laws, and would rather give those jobs overseas, and park that money offshore (we are one of the only countries in the world that allow that without taxation).

So, that is sort of a thankless fuckin job, and impossible task, given the subservient capitulations to corporations the nutsackers are world reknown for.

Dwn2EarthDom -> RE: OBAMA LIED!!! (11/5/2013 9:28:04 AM)

As a person that lives in the state of TN I must say one thing about our TennCare. If you look at the actual costs of operation of it on a year to year basis, the costs of running it have actually dropped and the amount of coverage has actually increased. Our TennCare users (people on tenncare) have had premiums lowered and services expanded. This is a PRIME example of letting the STATE manage the health care of it's citizens and not some fat overbloated washington agency that hasn't a clue about what is needed at the local level. I am proud to be part of this state for this reason.

mnottertail -> RE: OBAMA LIED!!! (11/5/2013 9:37:52 AM)

Yeah, thats a medicaid program.  It is run by Tennessee  with oversight by the Federal government (cuz 65% of it is funded by the Federal Government). Some medicaid requirements are waived if Tennesee can run it their way for no more or less than the Fed.  That was slipped into the ACA (with strong reasons to give states to expand those programs).

Undoubtably the states (for the most part) know better than the Fed how to make effective use of that money for healthcare, except where they are ideologically turning down that program for 'freedom', all the while eating dead dog from the Federal trough in Billions of other ways.

Yikes! It's about and around 47 percent. This is less than 50 percent so we are good, right? This means there are more haves than have nots and so President Obama can take from the haves and give to the not having. This reminds me of Robin Hoodie. He did wealth redistribution in ye old England in not so merry times. Except I recall even the poor were taxed and got nothing then and even the middle class were helped by our hero Robin, so I guess the Robin Hood thing is not exactly Obama Hood. Besides, Robin Hood shoots straight.

Wealth distribution over the past 30 years has transferred mostly into the top 10 and 1 percent. The numbers are almost 3rd world like.

President Barack Obama told his enthusiastic supporters Monday night that he never promised what video recordings show him promising at least 29 times.

The videos show Obama promising 300 million Americans that “if you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan, period.”

But that’s not what he really said, Obama announced Monday in a speech to about 200 Organizing for Action supporters, gathered at the St. Regis hotel in D.C.

“What we said was you could keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law was passed,” he told Obamacare’s political beneficiaries and contractors.

That claim is not supported by his videotaped statements, which don’t include any mention of his new “if it hasn’t changed” exception.

Obama lied. As he said, "period."

Business hires qualified people.

If you aren't qualified, get qualified.

If you are incapable, beyond your control, of getting qualified, or improving your qualifications, you can get help.

Layer upon layer upon layer of regulations and requirements makes it more and more difficult for businesses to hire qualified people at a certain wage. The higher the wage necessary to attract qualified talent, the fewer qualified people will be hired.

In the end, it's not the President's fault that people aren't qualified for positions that would earn them more. It's not Congress's fault, either. It's not the Governors's faults, nor is it the fault of local elected officials.

If someone is capable of gaining the necessary qualifications and chooses not to, then it's solely that person's fault they aren't qualified for a position that pays them enough for them to owe Federal income taxes.

mnottertail -> RE: OBAMA LIED!!! (11/5/2013 9:57:47 AM)

Yeah, he should have known better than to trust the unAmerican corporation AKA people to do anything decent.  Period.

And it is reported by only nutsacker shiteating sites.   Therefore extremely doubtful, near a certainty he didn't say it.

But in reading the law, I would agree with his yet unproven statement, if it assumed that nutsackers and corporate masters would not fuck him.  Well, he should know better, period. Because nutsackers don't understand English, the law, or their own whining fucking stupidity.

Business hires qualified people.

Half truth

If you aren't qualified, get qualified.

irrelevant since the primary statement is only half true.

If you are incapable, beyond your control, of getting qualified, or improving your qualifications, you can get help.

More wandering afield in service of the first irrelevancy.

Layer upon layer upon layer of regulations and requirements makes it more and more difficult for businesses to hire qualified people at a certain wage.

Yet we are kept in the dark as to just what these "onorous" regulations are[8|]
What the fuck are these regulations?
What constitutes this "certain wage"?
For example there are plenty of qualified programers in the u.s. at 100 dollars per hour but there are not any at 15 dollars an hour which is what industry wants to pay thus we have the h1b program that takes jobs away from u.s. workers and gives them to low paid foriegn workers.

The higher the wage necessary to attract qualified talent, the fewer qualified people will be hired.

Bullshit...there will be exactly as many qualified people hired as there exist jobs for them to fill.

In the end, it's not the President's fault that people aren't qualified for positions that would earn them more. It's not Congress's fault, either. It's not the Governors's faults, nor is it the fault of local elected officials.

No shit[8|]

If someone is capable of gaining the necessary qualifications and chooses not to, then it's solely that person's fault they aren't qualified for a position that pays them enough for them to owe Federal income taxes.

Hmmmmm....what we have here is an amazing grasp of the fucking obvious...but absolutely no understanding of the question[8|]

"On August 24, 2006, the Department of Commerce's United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) released for public comment a draft five-year strategic plan designed to foster American innovation and competitiveness at home and around the globe. The draft plan, for which public comment - including suggestions, questions, and other input - is being solicited, identifies quality and timeliness of the patent and trademark review processes as primary goals for the plan that will guide the agency from 2007 through 2012."

I said that there are knaves to vend, and fools to gulp the nutsacker asswipe, and they are imploding, every reasonable person under the sun, knows what he meant. period.  And understand WE as opposed to I, and we did say that repeatedly.  See if you can guess who we is, in all your gobbletygook and asswipe spinning.

I know you have said, in your lifetime, I am tying my shoes.  That makes you a liar.

So, telling simpletons (most can figure out who they are, except the simpletons themselves) You can keep your policy, period, is correct.  They need not throw it away.  That takes care of the specious cavil and derail and dishonest deflections of the fact that the nutsackers are imploding the country, obstructing America, borrowing and spending and driving us into debt and fucking up everything that was fixed, and augering in everything that isn't.

You can keep your policy.  Period.  Nobody is taking those pieces of paper away from you. Period.

However, your insurance coverage is being robbed by the nutsackers in concert with their corporate masters the insurance 'people'.

The law is there, they do not have to conform, forever, if they were in force by whatever date in 2010, so any notion to the contrary is horseshit.   Who has had them in force before that date and had them taken away by the Government, or by law?  Names, credible citations, we have had not one as of yet, nobody has provided credible proof that it is the case.

Something along the lines of "the insurance companies took those policies away not the govt."
Before your "specious" quote was said it had already been said that insurance policies that did not meet the criteria to be insurance policies would not be insurance policies.
But then you already knew that[8|].

Phydeaux -> RE: OBAMA LIED!!! (11/5/2013 12:54:56 PM)

The bible says a man isn't a thief because he steals.
He steals because he's a thief.

Joether, your last posts are the third major deliberate lie you have presented on the subject of the ACA.
Being caught- not only wrong, but wrong on huge areas of the bill exposes the fact that you, in fact, have not read it, despite your frequent claims to have.

The ACA bill does not contain estimates of what % would lose their healthcare. Those figures were impossible to even guess until the HHS made the enabling regulations more than 2 years later.

Second, no, the ACA bill does *not* make it obvious what percentage of people would lose their health care. The whole point of the bill was to make it INobvious how many people would lose their insurance. And the administration quit writing regulations for a year specifically so the ACA wouldn't queer the last elections.

Regarding your assertion that a plan "accidently" fails on the law...
Are you kidding? Do you know how many thousands of man-hours go into making one of these plans. Of negotiating with provider networks, drug companies. Then instructing your sales people? Not to mention legal review, analytics review. HIPPA compatibility.

To say accidentally as if insurance coverage is just put together over a beer and a few hours of work reveals and enormous lack of understanding of the industry.
