At Gettysburg ... who changed the course of the civil war, and emancipation?
If your answer is: JEB Stuart's Confederate "Invinciblle's"; then be very happy they were defeated by George Armstrong Custer and his Michigan Cavalry.
Heck, this is so obscure a fact, it wasn't even on the news in Michigan, during the July 150th anniversary of Gettysburg.
If you doubt me, read the book, " The Cavalry Battle that Saved the Union"; by Paul Walker.
Why bring it up here?
Well, this thread is 50 shades of humor ... and you said you were African American ... so I thought I would shove this in! LOL
Lots of those moments during Gettysburgh, Lee ordering Pickett's charge through an exposed wheat field when the union had the higher ground, Joshua Chamberlain and his Maine boys running up under fire to take little Round Top (if the confederates took that, the union would have been in deep shit), and of course, the fact that Lee even tried invading the north, that cost him every time:). On the other hand, the battle was lengthened by Dan Hooker and some really bad decisions (what do you want for a man who was the first person in US history I believe to get off of killing his wife and her lover on a plea of temporary insanity and gave the euphemism of hookers to prostitutes from the 'camp followers' he enjoyed:). I know I am way off topic, but if anyone plans on going to Gettysburg, I highly recommend going to the national stables and going on a tour by horseback, on top of everything else, the guides are incredible, most of them have Phd level knowledge of history....

-'no, no, I am straight, I love girls' (from a friend of mine and from experience, guys who claim they are straight, love trans girls for being more 'real' women to them, and wanting you to screw them; not really bd/sm, but still kind of in the same spirit).
-'I read 50 shades of Gray, and I want to know if it would be okay to use a plugged in power chord as a play thing' (not really funny, obviously, but this was asked of a friend of mine who is licensed electrician by someone at a neighborhood gathering).
