I am new to the Mistress thing. Just wondering if anyone knew of any free sites to find subs? And is Paypal ok to ask for.. I need instructions here.. LOL

If you were planning on setting up as a Prodomme, then you need to do some serious homework as you would in setting up any other professional business.  Have a business plan, know how much you can invest (wardrobe and toys are VERY expensive, as is setting up a dungeon space), and talk to a lawyer about your local laws regarding what the legalities are about prodomination, and to an accountant about how to handle paying taxes on what you make.

Talk to local prodommes to get a feel for the skill level out there (after all - you have to have skills worth something to charge), and consider working at a local established dungeon for a period to learn the business.

If you weren't planning on setting up as a prodomme - then you don't need a Paypal account.  It's unethical to solicit tributes when you're not providing a tangible service in return.

To the OP...Sorry, I don't know of any other free sites where you can find subs.  Most of them require Paypal (CM should too for anyone using this site to run a business IMO).  Isn't life grand?

But it still doesn't explain why the word would take on such a negative connotation because you would have to be a complete dolt to trust that anything like this as being true.

(my appologies to the OP for using you as an example but this very thing has been a hot topic as of late & your post just happen to fall right in line... no hard feelings, but that's the way it goes around here. You never know what you're gonna get when you start posting. Often these threads take on a completely different direction.)

Just a little tip....PayPal does not accept "adult" transactions. Just one negative note dropped to them and ZIPPO you have no more PayPal account.

This may sound like a silly question.... but I am going to ask anyway.... if you are a new Domme then what do you have to offer someone as a service?  Maybe you should be paying them to let you practice and fine tune your skills? I did not mean to insult you but I would like to know the answer....

I've nothing against having a guy serve physically (by cooking, cleaning, doing the laundry) or financially (by doing things with/for you if he is able and a gentleman who takes care of his lady); but being so new, your profile screams "I've just discovered a new way to get money off of horny men."   
Again nothing wrong (in my opinion) with anything happening between consenting adults, but I wonder if paypall is the first thing you ought to be learning about.    Have you picked up many books, gotten dominant friends to talk to and learn from?               M

Are you serious?  You are new to this and you're asking about PayPal?  Who on earth is going to pay you for anything? If you have talked with any prodommes you would know that professional domination is not a way to get rich quick.  You need to pay dues and learn what it is all about before going forward with a financial plan.

Funny, in the 11 years now that I have been in the lifestyle... Ive never been drawn to set up  paypal account for it...
If your looking to be part of the Domme thing (that still looks funny when I type it) then maybe you should try and get some experience and make sure its something you actually ENJOY before you see how much you can make off it.
