I'm still baffled as to how the transit cop knew that he had a permit. I'm wondering was there perhaps an NRA bumper sticker or something along that line that led to an assumption and the officer thought if he would press the issue the driver would somehow confess? Now, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against bumper stickers of any kind, I have issues with law enforcement officers and security officers who have very long sticks up their asses.

As Igor pointed out concealed carry permits are public and that may be how he found out. The bumper sticker is also a possibility.

Who remembers this: "Fuck the Police"- NWA 1988 Fuck the police comin straight from the underground A young n_ _ _ _ got it bad cause I'm brown And not the other color so police think they have the authority to kill a minority Fuck that shit, cause I ain't the one for a punk motherfucker with a badge and a gun to be beatin on, and thrown in jail We can go toe to toe in the middle of a cell Fuckin with me cause I'm a teenager with a little bit of gold and a pager Searchin my car, lookin for the product Thinkin every n_ _ _ _ is sellin narcotics

I knew it came up on a computer check when his plates were run, I guess I should have made myself more clearer on my baffled state. The wife's statement was a bit unsettling. All of my children have gone through gun safety classes and hunter safety classes. That was my responsibility as a parent.

Even if I wasn't a gun owner, I would still want my children to take safety classes. How many times have we read where children were at another child's house and there wound up being an accidental shooting?

Like I said, this has been going on for decades. It could have been stopped then. Now that this behavior has been pretty much "sanctioned" by precedent; the cops are accustomed to doing it and the laws are written in a way that gives them very liberal authority to do it. It is going to be much harder to stop it now.

They aren't saying. Which means it's true, but they REFUSE to confirm it. They refuse to admit their conduct. How convenient for them. DomKen either doesn't understand bureaucrats protect themselves, or he wants to protect them himself. Whichever..... they should send their troopers to Chicago, where real criminals create a killing field every day.
