While I have looked into CC laws, I have to say you blew me away when you said; "There are at least 15 states that permit open carry without a license." I thought 15, oh that's an exaggeration, maybe Texas and found out that Texas is one of the few states that doesn't allow some form of open carry. As did mine. As I stated earlier, perhaps on a different thread that even if I wasn't a gun owner my children would have been educated. I don't know what other people have in their homes and there are too many accidental shootings of children by children.

I will agree that Zimmerman is a dumb ass for being less than stealthy while trying to follow but I can't find any laws against that. IMO the incident was an unfortunate freak of nature.

The Feinstein quote was made on February 5, 1995 during a "60 minutes" interview and it was concerning one type of weapon that she was asked about - assault weapons. Those very words were taken and misrepresented so that the NRA could scare their supporters into believing Feinstein is trying to ban all guns. This resulted in members donating more money.
