One of my deal breakers is weak Masters/Doms. If I can top them, I don't want them.

Deal berakers interesting question

!. Smoking (now that master finally quit)
2. Dishonesty
3. Lack or Morals
4. Is Poly
5. Has no sense of humor
6. Can not freely give and recieve affection

They are in no partucularorder there are a few more but those are the top 6.

For me it would depend on WHY they murdered. If they murdered someone under duress, for example, was a child soldier in Uganda and had no choice, assisted suicide, and other situations where they did murder someone but for good reason.

As for jail, my husband was in and out of jail and as most here know, Master was in jail before I met him. But my husband straightened up his life after he joined the military and we got married. He had totally changed his life and was no longer that person from before. The same for Master. Jail can make or break a person. Some never see the light and continue down the bad road while a few do see the light and follow it.

ETA: One more deal breaker I just thought of:

If you have too much of an open mind that you are easily influenced and you are into hippy,dippy, trippy, new-agey stuff and think that aliens built the pyramids and you think everyone should be fair and equal and let my people go! yada yada yada. I like a man who knows what he likes, dislikes, knows who he is, stands by his views.

ETA: Oh and I kinda like a man who hasn't married yet. I get to feel like I'm special and the one he was waiting for. :) Let me have my fantasy.

Yeah, I completely agree Littlewonder. But I suppose that gets into the definition of murder. Is it murder of manslaughter to kill under certain reasons? I'm military myself. If I kill someone in the line of duty, is it murder? Definitely not.

Reasons and understanding is important. After all, we don't live in a black and white world. We have so many colours and shades, each person needs to be evaluated on their merits I'd say.

I also think while I've put deal breakers here, they're general rules. But life is complex and people are too. I'd never have hard and fast rules - it negates the fact that people are so complex, and they may have qualities or elements I might not have considered.

legally, yes. Morally, depends on who you talk to.
