For me when i ask and He is willing to take the time and that part of Himself and give to me it brings U/us closer. It shows that what i feel and my needs are important.

"Do you find afterwards that is makes you softer, more pliable, does it somehow intensify your feelings of love or submission? "

As mentioned above it makes me feel closer to Him, but also i am more compliant and thoughtful, because i see a part of me that is not there the strength to be so much to someone. So i want to keep that in my life and will do what ever i can do keep it. Which in turn is keeping in mind that without him i may not be able to get what i am receiving and even if i could it would not be the same.

Yes it deepens the passion between us because he is giving a part of his control to me and i never take advantage of it.

i think it is something that is hard wired into me. Even before i knew about BDSM or D/s i knew i did not fit inside the box with the rest of the world.

kink has turned me on, now kink with pain does it even more. Giving total control to Master ehances all aspects of my life, knowing i am owned, body mind and spirt.

i was one who had a huge wall between me and the world, people think they know much about me but only Master knows the true me. Master is the one who has been able to get through the wall and see the true essence of me. This would suggest to me that is why my emotions are heightened with whatever Master choses to do to/with me.

Over time Master has trained me, trained my responses. He is able to bring me to orgasm however with pain the orgasm is larger than i have ever experienced before. This only increases and continues to grow.

Each time Master uses me my submission to him becomes deeper, i am far softer and much more pliable. i believe it is because he is removing the wall that i have for the world and making his own pathway to my soul.

The fact that the pain makes us pliable and soft seems to be a part of many of the answers here. Your comment about that wall we all put up that the pain cuts through i find particularly apt, at least to me, it protects the softer inner parts we hide from the rest of the world.
