Who is farther to the right? How about the Muslim Brotherhood? How about Muslims? Instead of being opposed to gay marriage (really a civil matter), they want to execute gays. I tend to think that if I were gay, I would prefer a ban on marriage to execution, but then again, what do I know? But they don't stop there. They also like honor killings, execution of infidels (everyone except themselves), payment of the jizya (tax on infidels to be second class citizens instead of dead), and other great things. Ban on contraception? Where is contraception banned? Nowhere in the US. No one is banning contraception. No one is opposed to contraception. Some are opposed to abortion, yes (although I'm not). Opposition to contraception has less than a zero percent chance of becoming law anywhere in the US. Well, maybe in Dearborn, MI, which is Muslim central. Forcing women out of the workplace into the kitchen? Like Sarah Palin? Condi Rice? Michelle Malkin? And tens of thousands of other conservative women. Yeah, they sure do cook a mean stack of pancakes. That's simply a canard. Again, it's Muslims who want women not to drive, not to do anything. This is preposterous and unsupported. Christianity as the state religion? Maybe Rick Santorum wants that. You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone else of any import who does. Unlike, say, Muslims who want a caliphate and shari'a. In fact, most Christians (I'm an atheist) do NOT want a state religion. They want the state not to prevent them from practicing theirs. It's Muslims who want a theocracy. Don't believe me? Go visit Qatar or Saudi Arabia or Iran. Have a great trip. Denying science? Most surveys show that while more conservatives than liberals are creationists, the numbers aren't as far apart as you'd think. About 40% of Dems are also creationists (I could look it up, but I believe it was a Pew survey). It's a problem overall. Should creationism, a pseudo-science be taught in schools (except under social anthropology)? No. But then global warming is also a pseudo-science with new evidence showing that temperature data has been fabricated and even changed from the historical record in order to support this fabrication. Most anti-vaccine people are leftists, nor conservatives. So there is more than enough junk science to go around. Oh, yeah, GMOs anyone? And a lot of this crap is taught in schools. It ALL ought to be removed. Killing immigrants? Exactly who is doing the killing? I could find scores of examples of criminal illegal immigrants who have raped, murdered and killed via DUI Americans. So I submit you have it backwards. Most immigrants are killed by other immigrants and by smugglers. And by the way, don't call an illegal alien an immigrant. That's an insult to the millions of legal immigrants here. Would you like Canada to be infiltrated by scabies, drug-resistant TB, H1N1, and the like? Well, those are the remainder of the "immigrants" currently being received in the US. Clinton, although I didn't like him, was a liberal. Obama is a pure left-winger straight out of the Castro, Chavez, Sandinista model. Further, unlike Carter who while naive did actually love America (even if his policies were mistaken), Obama despises America and wants us brought to our knees. So far, he is doing a great job at that. Even Woodrow Wilson, a repellent mess of a President with his effete, academic theories of peace and comity, didn't hate this country. Obama is the first and only US president who thinks the US is an abomination. Which is why the greatest day in the history of the Republic will be January 20, 2016. quote:

Imposing christianity as a state religion? Bringing creationism into schools? Allowing complete freedom to destroy the environment for profit? Giving corporations more power than the people? Denying science? Killing immigrants who simply hope for a better life? Continued tax cuts for the rich? Seriously, what is so extreme about the liberals these days? Because your democratic president is far more right wing than our own conservative government here in Canada, trust me, I live here, I would know.
