You are taking her word over the definitions provided from oxford dictionaries (and over any definitions you can find in any actual dictionaries). She clearly is not an unbiasd source; neither are you. Dictionaries are unbiased sources. I disagree with those who say you are acting stupid.

Dear oh dear! It's sad to see so many people confused by a simple question - what is the correct way to describe a particular form of hate. It's a bit like arguing over whether a particular killer is a psychopath or a sociopath when the pressing task is to ensure the public is properly protected from the monster. Some people, including our sorry excuse for a PM here Abbott try to justify their militarism by claiming the other side is "pure evil", a "death cult" yadda yadda yadda ...... The alarm bells really ought to ring loudly when such absurd rhetoric is trotted out to justify more foreign intervention in the ME, to 'fix' the problem the West itself caused by its own intervention(s). IS are a revolting bunch of thugs, but to assert they are "pure evil" is as silly as to claim the West as "pure goodness". Hate is hate. The same hatred motivates the jihadi as those who are so vehementally opposed to Islamism that they proudly proclaim their hate by describing themselves as "Islamophobes". The same single minded obsessiveness, the same black and white picture of the world, the same absolutist claims underlying their fanaticisms. Hate is hate, and always a problem, never a solution.
