Unfortunately all to often brutality against police is, when the cop wins, portrayed as police brutality.
That said I have to respect the young lady for this stand.

That is good to see...but you do know that the City of Ferguson police and government received thousands of death threats and I am not exaggerating. Now I am sure most were just blowing off steam, although I ask you... could you see yourself making death threats? There was even a ISIS sign displayed in Ferguson.

Funny how Sharpton's death threat was broadcast all over the nation but you hear little about direct death threats to law enforcement. No wonder police are upset with the news media and in New York their own Mayor.

there are cop haters on every side of the "aisle"
Eric Frein, Jerad Miller not to forget how far the "righteous patriots" following Bundy and his gaggle of ""in the past year alone were prepared to go.
Can you imagine if guns had been on show in NY during the weeeks long protests?

Great point Lucy.
Also, I am not going to go on and on about the fact that:
Innocent black/and non-black people being killed by the police have NOTHING to do with mentally ill/and or terrorist cop killers.
**Ismaaiyl Brinsley, was clearly mentally ill and should not be linked with the non-violent protesters that have been protesting police brutality and murder against innocent citizens.**

Its a shame that these issues are being lumped together by the ignorant or ill informed.

Thats good that you're not going to do that because both the death of Michael Brown and Eric Gardner were ruled as justified. One grand jury got it wrong...in Gardner's case. Neither man however was innocent.

The point is that certain communities do not,and with GOOD reason, place much faith in the Justice system to give them a fair hearing.....so the findings,in this case, and for many people are irrelevant

Au Contraire Rodders.

My post #127 had everything to do with the post of yours I replied to, thats why I included it. It was to do with the juxtaposition of your post with previous comments on the subject.

Do you see how forums work yet, or do you want a flow chart ?

I need a source to contradict someone else's unsupported statement?

Really ?

A couple of years back we had a perfect example of what I was saying.
20 witnesses swore that an unarmed black kid was shot in the back by a cop.
The cop claimed self defense.
Kid was shot in the front and from below.
Cop claimed the kid grabbed his weapon shoved him down and tried to shoot him with his own weapon, the cop used his backup.
Coroners report supported the cops story.
The dash camera showed that what the cop said was absolutely correct.
Even after all of this was released the people who came in to see that justice was done still demonstrated to demand the chief be fired for not arresting the cop for murder. They demanded that the cop go to prison.
That is exactly the sort of thing I was talking about.

You're the one who called bullshit on his statement. Just because you say his statement is unsupported doesn't make it so...prove it. He just supported his statement. Can you?

I'm talking two policeman...in their vehicle...doing their job...carrying the guns they're licensed to carry...holstered as they are supposed to be. You...and the Sydney thread...and whoever you're referring to in the Sydney thread...are referring to unarmed civilians in a coffee shop. You don't see a slight bit of difference there? Or does the subtle difference escape you?
