ORIGINAL: Kirata Dhimmitude in 3, 2, 1.... K. Cue the defenders in 3, 2, 1. . . . Cue the Islamophobes more like. this is a good example of how/why it's difficult to have meaningful conversations with leftists. you (as a group) see "isms" inherent in every conservative critique. calling someone a name is an attempt, conscious or otherwise, to shut down the conversation. oh---since im an islamophobe, I have nothing to say. or, oh, since he is an islamophobe, I can dismiss his arguments and go happily along my way. I've said this before but it didn't appear to stick, so I will try again. conservatives do not have an irrational fear of muslims, nor are they hateful of them. what they have done is looked at the evidence, decided which side they want to fall on, and made a choice. have said this before too and it bears repeating---the incredible irony that exists when liberals defend islam, especially when so many of them gleefully attack Christianity. so many of the things you hold dear, so many of the behaviors you engage in, are illegal in muslim countries. you'd be killed, jailed, forced to convert, or otherwise oppressed. but by all means---keep supporting them and hope they will be "tolerant" of you when you are living under their rule. How sad you are and how little you know. Blair, who joined Bush in this misguided venture is LEFT WING (labour party), I am right wing (Conservative party). Both men were on a personal mission to eave a mark on history, and while they have achieved that, it isnt so much a mark as a big red stain. I know you cant get over the fact some of us are atheists, but think of it this way. We only believe in one less God than you do.
