Aside from the illegal crap which I am very anti... being anti-lifestyle stuff seems to me more pro-butt hurt.

Case in point, there is a lot of anti-pro domme floating around, and yet business at the bunny ranch is booming. Why would anyone be anti-pro domme, it's either you use them or you don't... why the butt hurt?

Now, I am not a Top. I am sick and twisted Primal bastard that gets my freak on... and it is a big freak, once I own her. If I were to play in public it would not resemble consent at all from the outsider looking in, but she knows what she got herself into and did so happily.

That said, there is a HUGE list of things that have no interest for me and things that just squick me the fuck out, but I am not anti-X. Hey, if it is your thing, wooohooo, go get your happy on. For me it is not about "tolerating" X it is about "accepting" X as your thing and it's okay... not my thing, I do not have to participate, and I can wear my big boy underoos and choose to avoid it rather than condemn it.

So wot is it with the Anti-X movement?

P.S. they're fucking spider man, not sponge bob, you sick fuckers!

Sadly, some humans can't enjoy their lives without feeling superior to others, either visually, intellectually, or morally, and they only way they can do that is to say others are wrong.

I've never really being anti anything in my life. I mean, there was that German fellow that advertised for people to eat and had more than his fair share of willing participants. It's probably going beyond the call of duty in terms of bonding, but there are billions of us on this earth so a couple of cannibals aren't going to be missed.

But there are principles which you (general you) stand by. Without principles which say: this is me, this is what I'm about - then I'm not sure what the point of living is. And, principles mean not everything will be to your liking.

A lot of Pro-Dommes have their own ideology that I find offensive and immoral. For example, they are often pro- or neutral about men who cheat - many of their clients are men who cheat so it is in their interests not to condemn it too strongly. Another example is that many pro-dommes believe that all men have a submissive or switch side that they cannot share with their partners, so the men are 'forced' to see pro-Dommes. Basically, anything that's good for business, they will justify, even if it means dishonesty and manipulation for others.

I have *nothing* against women who charge for their services, whatever the nature of their services, but I am very wary about pro-Dommes because of the examples above. It's my experience that pro-Dommes are short on sympathy when you get cheated on, even if they're the one who facilitated the cheating. I never met a pro-Domme who would turn away a cheating man, so for that reason, I consider most pro-Dommes to be immoral.

I think that has to do with a business sense. It isnt the Pro Dommes problem if the man is cheating or otherwise. They have a business and they perform. Im sure it sucks to be the person getting cheated on, but I wouldnt hold accountable the pro, I would hold the cheater accountable. Business is business.

I, personally, cannot fathom holding a pro-domme accountable for someone else's lack of fidelity. I have a hard time with people going nuts on the person their partner cheats with if it is a stranger to you. I put blame and accountability where it lies... with the cheater themselves.

It's like blaming the dog for biting the asshole that came in the yard. The dog does his/her job, the trespasser got what they came for.

So ... when the married (30something-ish) lady came up to me, at school, and we started talking and she told me she was married and I still proceed to seduce/fuck her, I'm blameless?

That does seem like a moral compass that might be pointing at true North instead of magnetic North to me.

Is this a question or a statement?

The so-called "morals" of the profession or business you choose is one thing; being responsible for the morals of your customers is something else.

I think this is sort of mixing apples and oranges.

If a husband cheats on his wife by starting a personal relationship with another woman, the other woman does deserve some grief (assuming she knew the guy was married).

If a husband goes to a Domme for her services, that is something different as the interaction is a business relationship. His wife will still be angry, but the anger should be directed at her husband - not the Domme.

What if we change "Domme" to "Hooker". Hookers aren't very emotionally involved, either and it certainly is a business relationship for the hooker. Would that be okay, then?

A very blackly-ironic answer might be, 'Yes, so long as she pays you for it'.

I'm assuming, though, that this is not the implication behind those sorts of statements that say no more than, roughly, 'things are morally OK so long as they're based on business'.

I think the key is the type of relationship.

A Domme or a prostitute will regard the man as a customer or client and money is exchanged for services.

But the "other woman" in an affair will regard it as a personal (and emotional) relationship with the man where there is no monetary quid pro quo.

Michael, the difference there is that you actively sought to seduce the married woman after learning of her relationship status. Meanwhile the pro-dommes have clients that seek out/go to them.

I still fail to see why? The onus of fidelity and the morals are solely on the shoulders of a married client who solicits the services of a pro domme. Pro Dommes as I see them, are in business to earn a living or supplement their income. Isn't the general consensus of the service of a pro domme is providing an outlet for men to engage in their kink fetishes that they can't find at home and seems to me that any pro domme I know does not provide sexual service. Which in my books, seeking sexual services does fall within the acceptable definition of cheating.

There it is. Personally, my relationship is sacred and holy and I wouldn't ever do anything to defile the sanctity of my relationship. A functional relationship is hard to come by, a good and functional relationship is like winning the lottery, an exceptional relationship is like winning the lottery every day. I cannot relate to those that could/would cheat, I'm not wired for it so I cannot see nor comprehend the need/desire to cheat... perhaps it is because when I commit to a relationship all else becomes background noise, but I know how to immerse myself in the moment and every moment with her is a slice of heaven... even the hard moments.

Jus sayin
