it was difficult to both watch and listen to her. apart from all the "ums" and "uhs" and constant lack of eye contact with either the camera, or the journalists in question (she flitted incessantly from reading from her notes, to looking off into left field, and then right field), and the inconsistencies/inexplicable things in her speaking---the most disturbing thing she said was "the server will remain private."

I hope someone takes the next step and pursues legal means to compel her---although by then, I suspect it will be too late.

Oh, you dont like that things are unrehearsed? That she might have been speaking 'off the cuff'? Because if it was, you would simply suspect her of wrong doing even more. Then again, you suspect her of wrong doing....BECAUSE....of who she is.

Not one shred of....ACTUAL....evidence, that she did something wrong. Not by one conservative on this forum! And all of you want to hang her. This whole thing is politically motivated....NOT....legally motivated.

I think we should have those 47 Republican Senators arrested and charged with TREASON, and have all their stuff investigated. Unlike Hillary, their guilt is undeniable. The evidence is pretty open for the nation to see. And they broke the law to score political points. But that's a different topic right?

You mean those 47 senators who pointed out that regardless of what Obama told Iran, the senate does have to ratify a treaty? My God they said Obama isn't King, off with their heads.

KenDckey -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (3/11/2015 9:27:23 AM)

OK Let us assume that either 100% of her E-mails were unclassified or there were some classified e-mails (a higher likelyhood).

Under the assumption that the unclassified e-mail scenario, the e-mails could be made public.

Under the classified scenario, the possibility that she could be prosecuted the way others were who kept classified information at home.

Which is accurate, I have no absolute knowledge, but if they aren't all turned over to Congress or the AP under their FOIA suit, then we will know.

mnottertail -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (3/11/2015 9:31:31 AM)

She has claimed to make them public. I imagine many investigators will be going thru her server to insure that is the case.

There will be great unhinged conspiracies even if that is found to be the case, with much rightwing Nazi shiteaters ignoring it, and using the innuendo and impugnations as a meme for the rest of their days.

Much like there were WMD in Iraq, but we went in there because of a gassing twelve years prior. And something there had to do with 9/11.

AP sues State Department, seeking access to Clinton records

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Associated Press filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the State Department to force the release of email correspondence and government documents from Hillary Rodham Clinton's tenure as secretary of state.

The legal action comes after repeated requests filed under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act have gone unfulfilled. They include one request AP made five years ago and others pending since the summer of 2013.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, comes a day after Clinton broke her silence about her use of a private email account while secretary of state. The FOIA requests and lawsuit seek materials related to her public and private calendars, correspondence involving longtime aides likely to play key roles in her expected campaign for president, and Clinton-related emails about the Osama bin Laden raid and National Security Agency surveillance practices.

"After careful deliberation and exhausting our other options, The Associated Press is taking the necessary legal steps to gain access to these important documents, which will shed light on actions by the State Department and former Secretary Clinton, a presumptive 2016 presidential candidate, during some of the most significant issues of our time," said Karen Kaiser, AP's general counsel.

Said AP Executive Editor Kathleen Carroll, "The Freedom of Information Act exists to give citizens a clear view of what government officials are doing on their behalf. When that view is denied, the next resort is the courts."

Even her lackeys in the media arent clapping with joy at her shit-juggling clown act

In other news:

Time lapse shows Hillary Clinton aging from teenager to 67

Hillary would be the second oldest president ever, if elected in 2016

Its okay to release the ones she hasent deleted from her home server?

(Have the hard drives been accidentally destroyed yet)

Someone call in Lois Lerner, we need experience and expertise over here

mnottertail -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (3/11/2015 9:49:56 AM)

Well, that was a W deal all the way thru, Lois Lerner.

So, you have innuendo and impugnment but nothing in the way of fact, as is usual.

Has Cheneys and Bushes emails been released to the public, all that WMD stuff?

1. I am not sure why you are discussing WMDs in relationship of Hillary's e-mails
2. Don't forget that Cheney served under Obama as well as Bush.
3. Isn't there a law that says that former Pres don't have to release their work for some time? Seems to me that Bill used it. Not 100% sure.

mnottertail -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (3/11/2015 9:56:10 AM)

Where did Cheney serve under Obama?

I am talking about emails. Emails about WMD among other things.

KenDckey -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (3/11/2015 9:58:29 AM)

sorry got him confused with Gates

mnottertail -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (3/11/2015 10:01:09 AM)

Yeah, you have quite a bit confused. It leads one to doubt the veracity of the other impugnment and innuendo.

KenDckey -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (3/11/2015 10:06:47 AM)

Documents concerning WMDs are classified for 50 years http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classified_information_in_the_United_States so I seriously doubt I will ever see any of them.

mnottertail -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (3/11/2015 10:22:40 AM)

Yeah, who did that and why? There is no reason to classify them since there were no WMD and we attacked the wrong country, knowing better. What could be a secret other than their malfeasance and treason?

Still, one would assume the emails and minutes of Cheneys secret meeting with oil execs just prior to the war would be good to go? When do we see them?

These things should be done in turn.
Lets get all Ws emails that arent about the Iraq invasion.

megyn kelly and the washington exxaminer......conspiracy experts
LMAO
hows bill o reilly doing Bounty? LMFAO

Smear the messenger rather than address the message. Typical strategy.
Hillary addressed the situation today, which, crazy as it might sound, made Megyn Kelly correct. Now, what are you going to do, Lucy?
Hillary's comments, though, probably aren't going to quell any on the right side of the aisle, though. I think, in the end, this scandal is only going to be usable to create a cloud of doubt about Hillary's transparency and accountability, which most of the people who will be voting GOP probably already have those doubts firmly entrenched.

LOL Im sorry, I didnt watch what megyn said, I also didnt watch what Hilary said.....
neither of them interest me enough.
but SMEAR????
LMFAO
typical strategy indeeed, and one even you are doing right now.

Yep, smearing. The only thing you did was mock Megyn Kelly and the Washington Examiner. That's it. As it turned out, too, Megyn Kelly was right.

quote:

As far as Hilary is concerned? she has always had issues with her "honesty" and "transparency"This is a continuation of benghazi, and because she is favoured to beat the shit out of the GOP in the next election.
Every breath she takes in the next 2 years is going to be called into question by people who are so intent on ignoring their own parties issues (ie their continuous flubs and failures since january, actually eclipses the last 6 years of complete idiocy) they have no clue on how imbecilic they look to others outside their own base.

Note that I stated that this is only going to be able to call her honesty and transparency into question (meaning that it's just a stupid political stunt, imo). And, also note that I even said that those who are already going to vote GOP likely think that already (making it even less effective of a political stunt).

I didn't listen to Megyn Kelly or Hillary, either. I think you and I are both smart enough to know that it didn't matter what Hillary said, that the GOP would use it against her. I still don't think she didn't anything wrong, or that if she did, it doesn't really amount to anything of material importance. Even if she did, I don't know how it's going to be proven.

mnottertail -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (3/11/2015 1:53:34 PM)

No, she addressed the message exactly, both are well known leprous whores for the rightwing nazi shiteaters.

POTUS did know that Hillary had a private email system. He E-mailed it several times.
Wonder how he is going to reconsile this with his statement over the weekend that he learned about it from CBS

If he didn't set up Hillary as a contact himself, he could simply type her name in, and never actually see the email host. I wouldn't be surprised if he had someone else setting email contacts up for him. He does have more pressing needs than entering email contact info.
It might be a bit difficult to believe, but it's still possible he didn't know she wasn't using a .gov email account.

How come no one on Obamas staff has asked, in this most transparent administration ever, doesnt [email protected] seem unusual?
Has he surrounded himself with mental midgets?
How would they know that presidential emails to some bizarre home server was secure and legit, and why would this not raise serious red flags
What about everyone else in government who emailed her. All morons? Every one of them?

If she had email conversations with people who have .gov emails, then those emails are archived. She isn't the first Secretary of State to use a private email account, so that's not really an issue. Unless she releases all the emails she sent/received (and how are we going to know that was done?), how are we going to know if she ever did any official business on emails that haven't been archived according to the letter of the law?

We aren't.

mnottertail -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (3/11/2015 1:57:34 PM)

Oh sure we are. NSA has all our emails. We know we are missing tons of emails from the W and Cheney treason.
