I did but as usual you were to busy throwing out juvenile insults to read what I actually wrote. But maybe I am wrong. I suppose it's possible that you and peon both think there should be a discussion on a bill to ban hand guns. I mean just because the law already exists there's no reason not to bring up the subject at commons and spend days going over it. After all you don't have anything else to do right? Maybe while you are at it, you could get them to debate driving on the left. Something else you already do but still a fun subject and since the intent isn't to change any laws it's all good. Now don't disappoint, I expect you to totally misread this and come back with more vague insults, k. perhaps make reference to another of your posts that have nothing to do with my original comment to P.

I still can't quite grasp what your point is on this, THB. Honestly, I'm genuinely a bit mystified. I can't speak for PS but as far as I'm concerned there's no need for a bill on handguns to go before the Commons. There's no appreciable desire in the country for the subject to be looked at again, despite the finding of that weird little survey in The Telegraph. It's done and dusted.

The poll asked which items people wanted brought before the commons for discussion. One of those items was to repeal the ban on handguns. You commented that..

"The Telegraph is a broadsheet paper read by generally elderly conservatives. (Av. age 61, apparently.) And there was no 'No, we don't want guns back' option to tick. Still, that shouldn't put off lots of American gunsters zipping off to the site to tick the 'Yes! Guns are yummy!' box ASAP. "

which made me think you thought they should have had that option. Now from what I have read guns are already banned over there. so my question was why they would bring it up again. Seems like a real waste of time since it's already the law.

Now I agree that there is no way of telling who voted so it doesn't tell us jack shit, but that really has nothing to do with my question.

THB, Peon also gets it, you have no point, none, zilch, nada, niet, rien. A newspaper doesnt decide what should or shouldnt be debated in the commons. the poll was a farce and treaded as such by anyone with half a clue. Now lest get on to your first reply to peon.

quote:

THB
Why would you need to introduce a bill to ban hand guns if they are already banned? Don't you folks have enough shit to work on without redoing your own laws. Now I understand that you were really keen to tick such a box but it seems like a real waste of time from over here. They asked what you wanted to see discussed in the commons, and that makes it sound like they are looking for real issues.

I have bolded the pertinent part for you THB... Please note peon said fuck all about what he did or didnt want to do, that is just your insinuation. Peon was pointing out, rightly, that there wasnt a no box, so it wasnt a poll as such. It was just a right wing paper appealing to a right wing audience. Move along nothing to see.

As for your mentioning of my replies to Kirata....... I am glad you didnt let me down and still continued with your arse licking.

Edited to fix quotes

That's odd because according to peon in the post I replied to where he said "I still can't quite grasp what your point is on this" he doesn't. I then tried to explain it to him. It's called communication. You might want to try it if you ever tire of being such an arrogant fucking troll.

Considering that the second leading cause of death of children and young men an women in this country is firearms I am not sure a reduction of crime, that could be from other factors rather than guns, is worth their deaths.
I read this and thought; wow, can this be true and so I tried to look it up and was unable to find anywhere that firearms were even in the top 10 let alone #2. Perhaps you could provide some documentation.
