so not ONE WORD about me not being a twue sub. I am a snarky switch. Get over it :P

but yeah...

You are damned right I expect my Dom to know how the cooker works.

What silly, funny, odd and cheeky and too honest expectations do you have of your partners, aside from all the sensible and reasonable ones.

I have a few funny little quirks on my list.

Matching socks. I don't think I can submit to a guy that doesn't pair his socks. Its just WRONG.

My socks always match, the right sock says "Exiled's sock" the left sock says "Exiled's other sock."

When me and 'er indoors decide to move in, together, we picked out this place. We loved it. At the time we didn't count on there being two other people, coming with us.

So, there was me (a forty-nine-year-old male), her (a fifty-one-year-old female), her friend (a forty-one-year-old female) and her friend's daughter (a three-year-old female).

I was the only person in the house to know that toilet seats (and lids) are supposed to be DOWN!

That drives me freakin' nuts!

Dude, you've got 2 women menstruating at once and it's the toilet seat which drives you nuts? Christ, the monthly dose of irrationality from 2 women would give me the ever-lovin' shits.

I dunno even what a cooker IS. I must be extra Domly. Or else from the States - I assume it's what we call a stove here.

Nah. The fifty-one-year-old hasn't menstruated in years. The forty-one-year-old drove me nuts for completely different reasons but drugs, alcoholism, laziness and thievery were just the tip of the iceberg.

The Man claims he knows how to cook. In 12 years I've yet to see a single instance of it. Except for the grill.

Now, on matching socks. Every time I sort my socks, I think of a Gorean couple I knew in Iowa. He had her convinced that socks come in a left and right and it was HER responsibility to make sure all his socks were pared up with a left and right sock.

I asked her how she told which ones were left and right and she confessed that she had to cheat and sew a bit of red thread in the toe of the right ones and a bit of green thread in the toe of the left ones. Just so she could make sure she had the sock sorting right.

I'm so proud of myself that I was able to keep a straight face during this conversation.

He doesn't ever close the cabinet doors. If I walk into the kitchen with them all open at 6am when I leave for work- I passive aggressively slam them all shut as loud as possible. It makes me pretty irrationally mad, but waking him up at 6am ISNT working to cure the behavior. Neither has asking nicely, or gently reminding, so I think I might be mad about it for a while yet...

My men have had that habit as well.

Even after I split my head open on the corner of one, my prior partner still left them open. I've tried to figure this one out. Is it like the person on the road who leaves their turn signal on? I mean, eventually they'll be making a left turn, right? Eventually, he'll have to get something out of the cabinet again, so why not leave it open?

Yup...I don't get it either.
