ORIGINAL: JVoV Hard to tell with the in-circles talking and senseless tangents jumping. Even still, a suspect with a nonviolent history, with a nonviolent warrant should not be compared to a rapist. A. the guy ran for some reason B. the post I responded to did not distinguish the two. C. Tell the rapist, tell the the thief that violence should be his last resort? See, that just fried my brain completely. To even remotely suggest that our law enforcement officers be held to no higher standards than the criminals they're sworn to protect us from... ignoring Due Process, every law they're sworn to uphold, the Constitution... Sanctity of life... I don't know how that makes sense. So instead of carrying on with you, I'll add something relevant to the conversation: http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/04/11/walter-scott-north-charleston-south-carolina-shooting/25625029/ In another development, the National Bar Association, which describes itself as the nation's oldest and largest national association of predominantly African-American lawyers, judges, educators and law students, released a statement Friday accusing Clarence Habersham, a black police officer who arrived on the scene shortly after the shooting, of filing a false report of the incident. The group said he should be fired and indicted, WCIV-TV reported. The group says the video shows Habersham allegedly tampering with evidence and also does not back up his claim that he and Slager administered CPR to Scott. Just so you know, I am just tired of every single police blotter being about race at every corner. It is to much work to oppress anybody, much less an entire. much easier to teach them how to get wealthy. the race issue for most white American is a complete non issue. and that includes police officers.
