Leathal force must be the absolute last choice considered.

The cop made no attempt to do otherwise from what I see. I see nothing that shows the cop or anyone else was in mortal danger because of the victim.

The cop stood in place, and fired multiple gunshots into the victim, acting as judge, jury, and executioner.

nm,probably funnier in my head.

Doing nothing? Now, I'm certainly not trained as a police officer, but I'm pretty sure that they're taught exactly what to do in similar situations. Which is why such incidents are rare enough to be so shocking and horrible.

could be negotiated with just like people think iran can be talked to or isi can be appeased.....none of those was or is going to happen. They must be dealt with absolute force.

See, that just fried my brain completely. To even remotely suggest that our law enforcement officers be held to no higher standards than the criminals they're sworn to protect us from... ignoring Due Process, every law they're sworn to uphold, the Constitution... Sanctity of life...

I don't know how that makes sense.

In another development, the National Bar Association, which describes itself as the nation's oldest and largest national association of predominantly African-American lawyers, judges, educators and law students, released a statement Friday accusing Clarence Habersham, a black police officer who arrived on the scene shortly after the shooting, of filing a false report of the incident. The group said he should be fired and indicted, WCIV-TV reported.
The group says the video shows Habersham allegedly tampering with evidence and also does not back up his claim that he and Slager administered CPR to Scott.

I just poked a whole in a statement. By your own admission, police officers have no business protecting us. Seriously. Violence should be the absolute last resort. that is what you said.
Almost as idiotic as somebody saying essentially we should let him and pick him later, as though he wont later.

Just so you know, I am just tired of every single police blotter being about race at every corner. It is to much work to oppress anybody, much less an entire. much easier to teach them how to get wealthy. the race issue for most white American is a complete non issue. and that includes police officers.

See, leathal force means actions that will likely result in death. And since killing somebody is really the last thing you can do to them, other options should be considered first.
