Making a false police report before shooting and planting evidence after the shooting for many makes a strong case for murder 1.

I believe the Mayor of that city has ordered body cameras so every cop on the street has one after this. FR, This does not look good for this cop. If he's found guilty (and I can't see how he won't be), I hope he gets an appropriate sentence.

While I heard 8 shots it did not seem like more than a couple hit him. None from point blank. We hear the first shot and he is not more than maybe 10' from the front sight.. Two hands,firm stance,...my little sister shoots better than that...but then she is a blind quadraplegic.

FR The prosecutors almost have to refuse to plea bargain for anything less than a murder charge, to set an example. I guess maybe that's just if you kill a cop.

Reality check.... He will not get the death penalty. This was not a premeditated killing. Just as the black man here in Missouri that shot and killed a store keeper during an armed robbery and got 50 years... So will he if convicted...or at least in that time frame. Butch

If that was his taser should be have left it where the guy knocked it out of his hand? What difference did it make if it was where he shot or at the body... It happened just as the cop said. The taser has nothing to do with shooting him in the back however or justifying his actions... It is irrelevant as a defense. Butch

Still not a death penalty case but it may determine the length of incarceration. In my opinion anyway. Butch
