Actually, what I think upset people was that the most powerful male in the world lied about it and tried to defect the incident onto a powerless 22-year old. Something, normally, feminists would be outraged about. So, when the feminists gave a pass because he was "their" man, the outrage of the double standard compounded the general outrage. Of course when hag Hillary then tried to blame it all on a right wing conspiracy, that didn't help.

I don't think Europeans went down that little rabbit hole is perhaps why they had less outrage.

Something about, his lying about getting a Lewinsky was under oath at his sexual harassment trial too. Something about, he was accused of other sexual exploitation incidents at the trial (including rape)

Something about, pointing at the camera and directly lying to all Americans, ridiculously denying that sex was sex...

The real history and the leftist narrative regarding the investigation and the impeachment are two entirely different things

If you guys on the far Right can't do any better than irrelevant whining and trying to derail the thread by turning it into another boring Rep vs Dem thing and dredging up ancient history, why are you bothering to post?

That you find some negatives when everyone else is happy for Ireland, the Irish and particularly Irish queers tells us a lot about your attitudes to issues of sexual freedom for people who are different to you.

Please find a suitable place for your negativity and whining. Its not here on this thread.

FR

Yep, I'm also struggling to see what Clinton and the Gobblegate affair has to do with this topic.

Nope, that didn't work for me.

Was Monica a gay male and did he and Bill want to get married, Sanity?

lady4dad -> RE: Oscar Wilde's revenge: Ireland votes Yes to Marriage Equality (5/24/2015 2:03:30 PM)

maybe because she was a banshee and he a leprechaun?

PeonForHer -> RE: Oscar Wilde's revenge: Ireland votes Yes to Marriage Equality (5/24/2015 2:18:21 PM)

He is a big leprechaun

Bet Hillary called Lewinsky a lot worse names than banshee too

Indeed. Now, I'm reading that it's going to put pressure on the North to achieve the same thing. Good. My kind of domino action.

I don't have a problem at all with them---but for the purposes of conversation in a broad general way, all "collectivists" can be lumped together.

so maybe next time I post something similar, you will consider that as opposed to unwarranted and erroneous presumption.

Slow down speedy. Just because you wish to throw everyone who isnt your idea of a "conservative" into one neat box, some of us aint buyin that shit.

Your shitty little notion that all "collectivists" can be thrown together doesnt work for one reason. They are all disparate groups with differing agendas.

America is often behind the world in general.(look at how everyone really was uptight about Clinton getting his junk sucked in the Oval Office by his Mistress, while Italy and France laughed their asses off because it's expected there to have a Mistress) One can only think that America is such a young country in comparison to the rest of the world, that it will take some time to catch up to everywhere else. It's a good positive thing they have done. Hopefully we won't be too far behind. It's up the the Supreme Court now.

Anyhow congrats for Ireland, and proud to be Irish. [:D]

Those silly naive Americans. Expecting people to keep their promises.

[:)] I know, right? I also happen to have Choctow in me as well.

That was my fault for attempting to give an example of how I feel America is a younger country than others are because we got uptight over the President having a Mistress and other countries are good with it. Probably not the BEST example, but one I came up with on the fly, and I didn't think it would take on it's own life![:)]

My apoligies for the derail of the topic....

lady4dad -> RE: Oscar Wilde's revenge: Ireland votes Yes to Marriage Equality (5/25/2015 2:01:13 AM)

... and a few other EU countries too

well let's wait for a week or two - it might be worth seeing all the reactions

of course they all have different agendas...and every one of them is some form of collectivism that is at odds with emphasis on, and the freedom of, the individual.

no narrower distinctions were necessary in my post.

if i am talking about animals, I don't have to make distinctions between bears, deer and mice when my point is some trait they all share in common.

Gah... are you people on crack? Banshee and a Leprechaun!?!?!? Leprechaun and trooping fairy, yes, but banshee, no.

why is it that right wingers on this thread use more communist words than anyone, especially when putting people into boxes, but have no idea what the labels mean.

DO they think it resonates with the lw?, well of course it does, but only in the direction of disdain, contempt and derisive laughter. It Definitely doesnt resonate with regards to fact, truth, understanding and intelligence, except in their hive minds.
