Here's a tidbit I hadn't read before: The deputy clerks have not been using Davis's name on the licenses.

The band Survivor has objected to the use of its song Eye of the Tiger during a rally celebrating the release of Rowan county clerk Kim Davis, who was jailed for six days after refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

“NO! We did not grant Kim Davis any rights to use ‘My Tune -The Eye Of The Tiger,’” they wrote on their verified Facebook page on Tuesday.

Us furrigners might not be aware of the identities of the four religious warriors in the pic. Apart from God's gift to marriage herself multiple divorcee and obscure bureaucrat Anne, I for one have no idea who these people are. Perhaps you enlighten us thanks.


BTW, it struck me that the redneck in the dungarees' failure to suck on a piece of hay completely spoilt his 'look' and made me question his authenticity. His hat looked suspiciously new too, as though the price tag had just been discarded and alas not the frayed-at-the-edges model preferred by genuine throwbacks. You would think that they would get these all important propaganda details right wouldn't you?

It certainly took huckabee and Cruz's wind out of their sails, as she was released before the rally could actually start.
Giving that she told the judge that she would obey his rules to get out of the contempt charge....then hours later (not even) saying that she wasnt going to do anything of the kind...is it contempt of a contempt charge?.
