Why do you think that the u.s. has a right to interfere in the internal affairs of a soverign nation? What right has the u.s. to tell iran that they may or may not posses a nuclear weapon?

Thanks to their interference, Israel haven't been wiped off from the surface of the earth. I think all countries should get involve and gang up against the countries who are threatening other countries.

Some interference are necessary for peace especially if any other countries threatens another country.

It seems many republicans have been caught up in the "Obama is a Muslim" bullshit, even Carson is now in on the act, despite the Constitution stating Religion is no barrier to Muslims.

The republicans, between them, seem to be pandering to the lowest common denominator, fear. They also seem to be isolating minorities one group at a time.

While in Malaysia, their Islamic Supreme Council member has publicly announced that Racism is mandated by Islam. And even quoted their holy text as proof. He practically said: "I am racist but it’s racism based on Islam. Racism is allowed in Islam."

I think because US citizens are currently protected by their civil laws, that they think people who have any concern about Islam are being paranoid and silly. But in my part of world, we keep hearing experts in Islam, living in an Islamic country, explaining to us what Islam is. And this is one of it.

Frankly, I do not want a Muslim President, and fortunately, Obama appears to be fully Americanised and I only believed his genuinely not a Muslim because of how he treats his wife and isn't threatened by her independence, but appear to be her biggest fan and cheerleader. In our part of the world, it's illegal to be any other religion but Islam IF any of your parent is a Muslim. It's like literally against the law. So generally that's how it works in most places where sharia laws are upheld, but he did grow up in the US and have the freedom to choose his own religion, so good on him.

This is not a particularly difficult question why are you having trouble in giving it a direct answer?

The Constitution is clear: there can be "no religious test" for public office.
Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson either doesn’t know what the Constitution says or he simply doesn’t care.

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/carson-backs-religious-test-presidency-despite-constitution?CID=sm_fb_maddow

All these people wanting to change the constitution.....when they dont even understand it.

Ok,fuck trudging thru all 4 pages of this thread.I'm just gonna respond to the few things that I seen brought up on the first page and inject it into the last.

Yeah, this circuss is start'n to smell alot like the california recall election

If Ya'll remember, that's when a whole slew of folks thought they could do a better job then Grey Davis (main issue being energy de regulation, something that was voter approved, and had nothing to do with the poor S.O.B.,not that Davis was such a great guy,but he wasn't the real problem either)and in all the clamering,it wasn't the policies or competence of the canidates that the voters noticed. It was a race of name reconition, and even the shortest midget and the sluttiest porn star couldn't compete with the giant Austrian fellow who had given us such great house hold gems as "I'll be back"and "GET TO DA CHOPPA!".
It wasn't that bad,I mean sure,we ended up gutting our teachers union so we could beef up our prison gaurd union for a few years, and most actual issues got swept under the carpet till a real statesmen could come and try to fix them(water rights to the colorado and central valley auquafers come to mind, but our state lesilature would have ignored those issues anyway).

So now it's a whole new managery of folks who think they can so better then Grey Dav...I mean Barack Obama
And one of them has a trademark awful hair peice, and the house hold gem"Yer Fired",oh yeah, and his name emblazened in lights slapped on to every monstrosity that he owns....best of luck getting any real debate outta this paticular clown car, gonna have to wait a year for that, assuming that some gawd awful celeb doesn't emerge from the other side..."Mmmmmat Damonnnnn"

Oh,and the main reason for local gov being so much more effective then their federal counter part for the last 8 years is due to the nearly complete polerized gridlock that our "representatives" have been involved in since Obama took office.I may not like the guy that much(a little too conservative for my taste),but you'd think that if Obama tried to pass legislation that officially reconize the sky as being blue, the republicans would fight him tooth and nail to say it was actually red..Most of our state repersentatives on the other hand at least have some small notion that they have a job to do rather then just to troll our president...

Oh,you didn't get the memo?

The whole republican platform is based on "blame Obama"
It's all they know now.
