Joking aside, I can actually see that as a possibility.

Picture yourself sitting there, hearing the Pope talk about what really matters while knowing that you've spent the last five years of your life trying to reason with, and often losing to, folks whose idea of dialogue is a government shutdown. That's one serious reality check. I'd have cried too.

Neither am I but his definition of racist is anyone who isn't a liberal. I am not going to walk into that trap. That is why he added privately, to him if a conservative doesn't have a public position he can pretend is racist he simply states that they are hiding their true racist core.

I've never had a staunch Republican American behave racist towards me ever. They are infact usually fantastically great to have conversations with, as they are so respectful of differing opinions and can often just stay on issues without getting personal.

I mean my real life interactions. Whereas with Libs, I often get criticized and insulted for my opinions.

I mean, I can tell a Con I am anti-life, and I am not gonna get shit for it. But if I tell a lib I am anti-gay marriage, there will be hell to pay. That's why for me, despite being anti-all religion and generally Cons are quite religious leaning, I still actually usually have a better experience with them when it comes to differing opinions.

I know more white atheists than I know blacks atheists! Infact, how many of you have black atheist friends? To be fair, my white friends is significantly more than my black friends, due to lack of black people in my country. So with my tiny pool of black friends, no atheist. All Christian.

I also know an African American who once told me, Black people are God's Special People, that their relationship with the Christian God is unique and special compared to all other races.

Yes - anti-life is an accurate description of some of your stances on various issues. When all the layers of spin are removed, it is also an accurate description of many of the positions the Right of politics chooses to adopt.

That statement about the right? That's about like someone saying the left is all about anti-life, given their positive spin on abortion.

In other words, it's bullshit. I've said it before...I am pro-choice but not in every instance. And yes, I am on the right.

I am pro death penalty but I don't consider that anti-life, I consider it anti-murder.
