“It must be incredibly frustrating as an Islamic terrorist not to have your views and motives taken seriously by the societies you terrorize, even after you have explicitly and repeatedly stated them,” self-described “Iraqi born writer & founder of the Global Secular Humanist Movement” Faisal Saeed Al Mutar notes:

Even worse, those on the regressive left, in their endless capacity for masochism and self-loathing, have attempted to shift blame inwardly on themselves, denying the terrorists even the satisfaction of claiming responsibility.

It’s like a bad Monty Python sketch:

“We did this because our holy texts exhort us to to do it.”

“No you didn’t.”

“Wait, what? Yes we did…”

“No, this has nothing to do with religion. You guys are just using religion as a front for social and geopolitical reasons.”

“WHAT!? Did you even read our official statement? We give explicit Quranic justification. This is jihad, a holy crusade against pagans, blasphemers, and disbelievers.”

“No, this is definitely not a Muslim thing. You guys are not true Muslims, and you defame a great religion by saying so.”

“Huh!? Who are you to tell us we’re not true Muslims!? Islam is literally at the core of everything we do, and we have implemented the truest most literal and honest interpretation of its founding texts. It is our very reason for being.”

“Nope. We created you. We installed a social and economic system that alienates and disenfranchises you, and that’s why you did this. We’re sorry.”

“What? Why are you apologizing? We just slaughtered you mercilessly in the streets. We targeted unwitting civilians – disenfranchisement doesn’t even enter into it!”

“Listen, it’s our fault. We don’t blame you for feeling unwelcome and lashing out.”

“Seriously, stop taking credit for this! We worked really hard to pull this off, and we’re not going to let you take it away from us.”

“No, we nourished your extremism. We accept full blame.”

“OMG, how many people do we have to kill around here to finally get our message across?”

It would be hilarious if it did not contain so much truth.

I have seen nothing that assumes the majority will be terroists. But they want to bring in 70,000, if 1% are terroists that means we ship in 700 do you tink that is a good idea.

What if we only let in 99 then less than one person could be a terrorst.
What if we were to kill everyone of the 70,000 then we would be safe right?
Why do you only open your mouth to say stupid shit?

Yanno all these drone strikes the nutsuckers have been whining about?

Turns out that is the majority of what the drones are striking is leadership of these different cells and sects.

Unfortunately for you jackass backers, the strategy is obviously failing.

ISIS attacks are getting bigger, bolder and more coordinated with every report of the death of one of their "leaders".

Obama is a failure, his plan is a failure, and you jackasses who worship him are idiots.

Well the jackasses have done more to repair the catastrophes the nutsuckers have created.

What have nutsuckers done but shit their pants, say absolutely ignorant shit, and borrow against our future, while spilling the blood and treasure of our country?

You're so confusing, I thought the jackasses were the nutsuckers. After all, the squirrels were the first ones to start sucking nuts and they taught it to the birds and the bees. Then the jackasses picked up on it. When the jackasses started wearing pants it was a catastrophe. There was nowhere for the shit to go so that's why they had to shit their pants until of course, they started using airport bathrooms.

For Peon..........

70,000 + @ Wembley tonight for the friendly game with France. 10,000 tickets sold in the last day alone.

Pleased to say both sets of fans joined in singing the La Marseillaise. The English fans at one section of the ground held up red white and blue cards in the pattern of the Tricolour.

Good to hear, PS - thanks. :-) Hmm. I'm struggling to remember *any* of the words to La Marseillaise right now ....

I hit London some time after the match finished. Usual drunken supporters - usual 'boisterous' mood. No sign of the edgy vibe that I was half-expecting.

La Marseillaise - English lyrics

Arise children of the fatherland
The day of glory has arrived
Against us tyranny's
Bloody standard is raised
Listen to the sound in the fields
The howling of these fearsome soldiers
They are coming into our midst
To cut the throats of your sons and consorts

To arms citizens Form your battalions
March, march
Let impure blood
Water our furrows

What do they want this horde of slaves
Of traitors and conspiratorial kings?
For whom these vile chains
These long-prepared irons?
Frenchmen, for us, ah! What outrage
What methods must be taken?
It is us they dare plan
To return to the old slavery!

What! These foreign cohorts!
They would make laws in our courts!
What! These mercenary phalanxes
Would cut down our warrior sons
Good Lord! By chained hands
Our brow would yield under the yoke
The vile despots would have themselves be
The masters of destiny

Tremble, tyrants and traitors
The shame of all good men
Tremble! Your parricidal schemes
Will receive their just reward
Against you we are all soldiers
If they fall, our young heros
France will bear new ones
Ready to join the fight against you

Frenchmen, as magnanimous warriors
Bear or hold back your blows
Spare these sad victims
That they regret taking up arms against us
But not these bloody despots
These accomplices of Bouillé
All these tigers who pitilessly
Ripped out their mothers' wombs

We too shall enlist
When our elders' time has come
To add to the list of deeds
Inscribed upon their tombs
We are much less jealous of surviving them
Than of sharing their coffins
We shall have the sublime pride
Of avenging or joining them

Drive on sacred patriotism
Support our avenging arms
Liberty, cherished liberty
Join the struggle with your defenders
Under our flags, let victory
Hurry to your manly tone
So that in death your enemies
See your triumph and our glory!

only 2% of refugees are males of fighting age, most are children, women, families.. so the 700 figure is way outta whack and a gross exaggeration..

BamaD -> RE: Paris under attack (11/18/2015 8:57:31 AM)

FR

He (John Kerry) said: "There's something different about what happened from Charlie Hebdo, and I think everybody would feel that. There was a sort of particularized focus and perhaps even a legitimacy in terms of -- not a legitimacy, but a rationale that you could attach yourself to somehow and say, okay, they're really angry because of this and that. This Friday was absolutely indiscriminate. It wasn't to aggrieve one particular sense of wrong. It was to terrorize people."

Yeah, when Palin said 'I can see Russia from my house', that was even more incompetent wasn't it?

Oh, wait...she didn't say that? Uh, tell you what why don't you show us exactly where Hillary said that?

Unless my eyes deceive me this is simply not true. I admit not exactly scientific but when running a search on images of Syrian Refugees your 2% does not hold up.

mnottertail -> RE: Paris under attack (11/18/2015 9:32:15 AM)

The ones that are coming to the US? We have a whole different system than Europe has.

The issue is that because the young males are hard as hell to vet, they arent going to be as plentiful as what would like to come in.

kdsub -> RE: Paris under attack (11/18/2015 9:35:26 AM)

Could be Ron but just me but I cannot imagine a vetting process where families are excluded simply because one member is a young male... are you sure about this?

Butch

mnottertail -> RE: Paris under attack (11/18/2015 9:43:08 AM)

Each member has to be vetted, you don't get in just because you are the cat's cousin.

Your eyes??? that was from an article in today's newspaper.. which i cant access online but here is the same figures (from the state dept) I was referring only to Syrian refugees (which the GOP & like minded others incorrectly blame for the attacks), not other refugees like those from Mexico/South America..

State Department: Only 2% Of Syrian Refugees In U.S. Are Military-Aged Men With No Family

Since the start of the Syrian Civil War in March 2011, the United States has taken in about 2,000 refugees from Syria. Last year, Syrians made up only two percent of the 70,000 refugees admitted, according to the New York Times. Of the 18,000 referred refugees cases from the United Nations High Commissioner for possible resettlement (of which the U.S. is taking 10,000) more than 50% are 18 years of age or younger.

ugh... double post

kdsub -> RE: Paris under attack (11/18/2015 9:50:38 AM)

The with no family is the part you neglected to post... you do understand this makes a difference don't you? There are plenty of military aged men... and just because they may come with a family does not mean they cannot be terrorist... And why just men... Did you read the latest from France?
