It not just about one individual person... It is about what the government has allowed to happen.
I can't go back to my great great great great grand father's Master's family and demand such a thing....
Why? Because my Ancestors where split up and spread wide.
And while they were paper keeping of slave property so far it has not been so detailed that i know my full lineage on my father's side.

When slavery ended one branch of my family was still in Germany so it wasn't thier fault.
One branch lived in a free state so they were helping destroy slavery.
The third branch were Sioux, already engaged in the bad side a virtual genocidal war in which Blacks take great pride in having participated.
Any of your linage serve in the 9th or 10th Cavalry? If so you own me.

Alas, I don't own You.... unless You are the GS seen on Your profile pic... in which case i would totally love that.

After reading many of the posts on here, I have to wonder if "they" really do walk and live among us.

Someone go find Luke, maybe the Jedi's can save us.

Typo, that should read owe, not own.

Welcome to the message boards ebonni, you are lovely.
You resemble Sanna Latham in your photo's.

This thread is many shades of ugly, even for this message board.
I have learned to read selectively on here.
It is clear we have a fair amount of posters that are well, you see ........

Really? Black people are living in huts in Ferguson? Show me a picture. They're going to tribal medicine men instead of doctors? Show me a picture.

Your knowledge of africa seems to come from old movies. Self imposed ignorance is it's own reward.

It's also not difficult to find other opinions that say they deserve nothing of the sort though and even other opinions from some blacks to draw a line under it and get on with living the lives they have.

That does seem to avoid the central theme of this thread. Why do some black people feel entitled to reparations, as has been pointed out several times. Those who oppose that concept seek to remain willfully ignorant. Why?

That shows what I know of naval vessels...................the last U.S. vessel I was on was a submarine and I am pretty sure they didn't have wig-wag men on there.

Thanks to the britts there have not been wig wag men on carriers in your lifetime.

not that there's any difference at all between remaining "willfully ignorant" and "considered it and rejected it" right?

by being here. No way I think they should be put in those conditions. I have no hate for any group, I beleive you need to know an individual before you can hate them. Fear of something greater than me? Because they are black? Sounds racist to me.

Only because it challanges your white male priviledge.

The slaves were not being bought (they were bought, not captured by Westerners) from advanced protions of Africa

Perhaps you might elucidate on this bit of nonsense. Which "advanced" parts of africa did this to which less "advanced" parts of africa? You need to stop watching old episodes of "ramar of the jungle" and pick up a history book written for someone beyond the fifth grade and use it for something other than shit paper.

so maybe you should get down off that horse and pay attention.

The people those things happened to cannot be paid.

The murdered jews cannot be paid either but their decendents can.

The people who did it cannot pay.

The people who murdered the jews cannot pay but their decendents can and are.

We were talking about the net effect and the blacks today who live in America are much better off than those still living in Africa on the whole, of course there are exceptions to every rule.

Why do you wish to conflate blacks in amerika and those living in other nations? Blacks in amerika live in the lowest economic fraction of the amerikan economy.

"Africans had crossed oceans by the time Europeans made their first journey to Africa ..."

I think we need a little more than your sayso on that.

One has to wonder at the number or dumbasses who never heard of Thor Heyerdahl and the voyages of ra and ra 2.

Are you also going to go back to whichever part of Africa and demand reparations from the lineage of those who caught and sold your ancestors into slavery?

So you agree that reparations from the amerikan slavers is valid and that all of those peripheral to this atrocity should also be tracked down?

When slavery ended one branch of my family was still in Germany so it wasn't thier fault.

Your constant effort to expiate your white guilt have been noted both here and elsewhere.

One branch lived in a free state so they were helping destroy slavery.

As I have cited lincoln did not persue the civil war to free the slaves but rather to preserve the union. Once again you are seeking to expiate your white guilt. If you did not feel such guilt you would not spend so much time trying to excuse yourself from it.

The third branch were Sioux, already engaged in the bad side a virtual genocidal war in which Blacks take great pride in having participated.
Any of your linage serve in the 9th or 10th Cavalry?

Were the 9&10 cav an organization of blacks maurading the native americans or part of the amerikan government that was engaged in a genocidal war?

A Black engineer or scientist is much superior to a White crackhead for one.

Since you have exhibited no knowledge of drugs or their pharmacopia this would be just one more example.

I am not, nor will I ever be an egalitarian.

Your bigotry has not gone unnoticed.

But the thing that people do not seem to realize is that I do not judge by race. But I car not what others think of me anymore. Hate me, block me, do whatever you want.

Mostly we just laugh at you for the clownllike post you make.

Just don't come creeping around here in the middle of the night.

Will you use your little girls gun to scare the boogy man away or will you just shout and stamp your foot?

Do you believe that children should inherit from their ancestors? If you do then why do you not feel that the decendents of slaves should inherit what was stolen from their ancestors?

As I thought...and noted much earlier...black leaders who disagree with your view on how they should think as being black are condemned by you as Uncle Toms.

How exactly do you assess rice, sowel, keys, churchill or obama as black leaders?
Rice was a presidential advisor not a black leader.
Sowell is an economist and not a black leader.
Keys was a diplomat and presidential candidate not a black leader.
Big ears is president and not a black leader.
Churchill is native american and not a black leader.
