I went to a gifted school with atleast 2 if not 3 people in the 180+ category. Even if normal distribution of mean 100 and standard deviation of 15 characterized intelligence (it doesn't) that would still make him only in the top few thousand currently alive. Additionally, highly intelligent people tend to relate to, and therefore marry, other highly intelligent people. This leads to a higher number of people in the upper echelons than predicted by a normal distribution

IQ of 186 muffins on the Mensa lunacy scalar I thought it was funny. Having words, non occurring events stated as fact, twisted and being misquoted is not so funny. I have always found people who do so to be dangerous and inhabiting many alternate realities, or their minds fractured to the four winds - and then you have many others reading the misquotes. I digress - That aside that one single line means many things pertinent/relevant to Ops question. Who am I to judge, am I impartial, if i believe in a god, what makes me impartial, or non biased to answer and so on. Plus Op, realone, knows fine well he made a generic across the board statement, so that aspect of his thread I did not truly understand, or why he chose to do so? What is a religion, what is a god(s), is outwith the remits of this thread. Are people biased – that’s how I read his thread. My answer is yes, some more than others. Now, I believe there to be no god, fooked if I know what an atheist is. But I do not go about trying to oppress the views of eg my mum. My problem with Religion, other than it makes no sense whatsoever, is that it has/is used as a carte blanche excuse to kill rape murder x 2 millennia…well those who believe in such an ethos. Or that hellfire, brimstone shoe apocalypse is imminent or you will not be raptured. Can I definitively prove/disprove (a) god? nope. lot of good potential new thread material in here. eg how do you define intelligence who was the most intelligent person who lived, what is a religion (tax shenanigans aside), what is a god, why my religion is the correct religion and all others heresy

I have been assaulted by Christians; as in, when they assault my ears with their babble and actually lay a hand on me to restrain me so they can pour their fairy stories into my ears. I have had Christians trespass on my property to hammer on my door and tell me that theirs is the only real wizard in the world ( or anyplace else for that matter ). I have never had those experiences from a jew, jain, muslim, hindu, sikh, sith lord, jedi or atheist, Nor have I heard of any of those categories sending out people to foreign lands to tell the locals that what they (the locals) believe in is all wrong and thereby destroy their religious or non-religious heritage. And before you begin attacking me as an atheist or whatever, I am not. I am a RCGAF........................'Really Couldn't Give A Fuck'. So basically, as far as I am concerned, you can take your weird fairy-story-fervour and shove it right where the monkey shoves his nuts.

It may be better though to have 'We trust NObody !!'........It would cover all eventualities, tell you what the government thought of itself and hopefully not offend the wizard-botherers either, except maybe the ones who are perpetually offended and would see it as a dart aimed at them personally
