Or perhaps too many potatoes while we are correlating and causing.

Well, Thompson says I'm the expert of Idaho! So I must be right about anything about Idaho!

He may think you are someone else named Tom.

Of course I know what socialism means. It's when you take from those who work for what they have and give it to those who refuse to work. It's even been tried in this country but it failed miserably. Just like it fails everywhere it's tried.

Thompson, nice try at diverting the issue but not good enough. You still have two losers on your side of the aisle running for president.

Period.....Paragraph.....End of story.

why are you not able to discuss YOUR idiots???

You need to get a dictionary junior. Because that is not what it means. Police, fire protection, public utilities are all forms of socialism which exist in amerika. then of course there is social seurity which sends me a cheque every month

It's even been tried in this country but it failed miserably. Just like it fails everywhere it's tried.

Cite please.

Thompson, nice try at diverting the issue but not good enough. You still have two losers on your side of the aisle running for president.

Where have I ever said I was a demopub?

thompson, I don't have to cite anything

Until you do it remains opinion with the value of used toilet paper.

wait and see if I am right!

You have yet to be right about anything.

I am too lazy to dig up news I've read for you.

We are in agreement as to your laziness.

Any validation for your belief that blacks vote for trumph?

Idaho didn't vote for Trump, there wasn't enough black people inside to help him win! Enough said!

You have failed to show where any blacks have voted for trumph.

I do not believe I have ever said you were an expert at anything. You are not even a good liar.

What a very myopic PoV.

Socialism isn't what you think it is.
Socialism is essentially that everyone who can (usually those that are earning or paying taxes by investments) pay into a single pot that pays for things that benefit the people as whole.

What has been tried in the US is barely a half-hearted effort that isn't exactly a good model to follow.
Proper socialism means that everyone benefits from the social model.
That includes those things that Ron mentioned in post#180 as well as housing, healthcare, social care, policing, fire and other authority services, and many many more.
And actually, most coutries that have it are quite successful at it and do better than those who don't.

Obviously MBC follows a purely capitalistic path and cannot grasp the benefits of socialism.
Perhaps he has the spare $billions in cash to pay for new roads in his neighbourhood, or new fire tenders, or new sewers or water systems, or more police or... yada yada yada.
The US already has the highest healthcare costs in the world and it doesn't enjoy a position in the top 25 of healthcare providers.
Many other countries are in that top 25 and most appear to have some form of socialist approach.
It's not perfect, nothing ever is.
But those countries that have embraced a form of socialism are enjoying better returns and better value than those like the US who haven't done much beyond lip service.

As for the presidential race, Trump is a clown but has a lot of followers.
Those behind him are a train wreck.
He talks of the two losers in the "dumbocrats".
I don't see anyone in the retards club doing any better.

The way I see it at the moment, it looks like Clown Trump Vs Clinton on the final straight.
