the government had a legitimate role to play in "discouraging prurient interests in autonomous sex and the pursuit of sexual gratification unrelated to procreation.

And by saying this, isn't this Ted himself announcing to the world that he and his wife only have sex for the sake of pro-creation and not any fun? OMG! In this day and age! Who the hell still believes in this shit!

Status: offline 		I remember that whole palava, i was getting sales from all three states because of the dumb thing. The matter ended with cruz being denied, quite spankingly, his personal beliefs have a lot to account for.

I mean, it's not even a respectable case!

And the fact that they try to mentioned this point, is clearly not necessary for their defense, as since when is it a government role to discourage sex that doesn't lead to pro-creation? But their personal views!

He was the solicitor general of texas. Its his job to defend laws in court. Once a bill is signed into law, the solicitor general represents the state in defending the law (should any defense be needed) before the courts.

The fact that he did so says nothing about his personal beliefs. So until you find something where Ted says - I'm opposed to dildos, you can't really comment on his personal beliefs. Mind you - he might have expressed an opinion. I don't know it.

Keep in mind that according to multiple studies - republican women own more dildos and have more orgasms than democrats. Of course, I'm not sure ted knows that.

Its interesting that you think there are no surveys or studies that say that.
It says a lot about you - that just because you are ignorant on a subject, you presume others are dishonest.

While a quick google search doesn't find the exacts studies (which included average number of sex toys by party) they support the general contention.
