Of course, any one of the 200 feral cats roaming Disneyland could do some damage -- infected bite, rabies . . .

I was in California Disney land twice, and I never saw these cute cats! Aww!
They aren't feral. They are Disney's pet cats.

Nothing do do with the thread pit-bulls (how did I not to think add that -hmmm) and offshoots I would ban they account for more deaths and injuries than guns in the UK Infact we have the dangerous dogs act over here and yet these dogs, sired mongrel, still and they prefer to rip kids apart......all owners of these sicken me

My friend who lives in california owns 4 lovely pit bulls, and they were rather loving and friendly when I was playing with them.

But pit bulls are banned in my country, so I don't see them here.

Well in this case, people ignored "no swimming" signs in a place where 1000s of gaters inhabit the water.

That's Darwinism in action and I'm not sure it's a bad thing. Do we really want the offspring of idiots - who think swimming with gators is fun - to reproduce? I'm thinking that's a set of genes the pool could do without.

But Disneyworld is filled with tourists. There is no way tourists would know that water bordering Disneyworld could have alligators! How would they know!

You're right. I 'm sure Disney thought about posting signs and putting up fences and then just thought to themselves "Fuckit, we can afford to lose a few."

Looks like they are gonna just go hunt for every alligator out there and slit it open to find the boy body parts. Geez! I wonder how many they gotta slaughter before they find it!

Personally, the boy is gone! Leave the alligators alone who just thought he was food! And Disneyworld should be sued for not putting out Alligators signs!

Disney can't put up alligator signs: Albert is Walt Kelly's character, not theirs:

The sign telling them not to go into the water?

To be fair, there is alot of signs around the world which says, do not go into the water, but it's usually not because of wild animals presence, but because, they just don't want you in the lagoon or pond. So people will still think it's safe.

And the boy just got in ankle deep I think. And he got dragged!

I mean if there were piranhas or alligators or crocodiles or sharks in the water. I think they should specifically say so.

Besides, the sign only says, "NO Swimming". The boy did not swim.

Nothing to do with the original thread merely a comment or two between us
Errant and pedantic notes All animals can kill I myself have a mere 3 cats. And who can forget toximuffinsmething or other and peanut and smog and so on

But that is neither here nor over there....I must, some day, look at you countrys' laws

And here is where I am about to disagree...they were lovely to you..perhaps all for evermore
But mathematically speaking these dogs eat children, rarely adults. And they eat them at a higher rate than alligators crocodiles lions etc

And tie and time again the owners of these dogs, yet to eat a kid, churn out its the owner not the dog

James (when I use that reader you know I am being 100% serous) Its the fuking dog and their interbreeding akin to me walking the streets with a trex

Notes I grew up with dogs then from 20 cats
My uncle (scottty doggy) (mum border collie) all girlfriends are allowed to bring their dogs into my house with my 3 cats.

Special mention Firewomen she was gorgeous and fuking insane in a good way and yet her choice of pet was a staff
She brought her, some garbage books over, and her staff, a death machine and it bothered my cats not at all...it was irked when we were kissed and i asked her why do you have this breed f dog and you are a physically strong women yet you cannot control this dog

I believe any animal could be violent or could be docile. It's just about domesticating them.
I mean a chihuahua could be hella violent, but it's just too tiny to be taken seriously.

They would know because it is in Florida.

And where were the parents of this child that was wading in alligator infested ponds?

I absolutely have zero clue that Florida is land of alligators at all!
Tourists wouldn't know. Only locals over there would know!
And it's a Tourist attraction.

Usually I would seriously blame the parent. But in this case, the parent was close enough to wrestle the crocodile and lost. All the kid had was ankles at the tip of the water. A alligator came and dragged it off. The dad was nearby enough to wrestle the crocodile and even got injuries from it but he lost.

Florida does have that rep, to an extent that alligator tail is a local delicacy there.
(Though I'm told you can get that in Louisiana and Georgia, where they're also good for alligators locally as well.)
