I heared McCain was the only POW to gain weight in captivity.

Also the only one to give interviews to communist journalist.

I am not a fan of John McCain at all but the story has been told many times that Hanoi offered him an early release because he was an Admiral's son; he allegedly refused and stay until all were released. Does anyone know if that is only "hero mythology?" It is also said he was beaten severely and often. He cannot raise his arms to this day. So, my question is does anyone know if that is all an invented story? If you have a link to document it, let me know please.

All of that is in his book "faith of my fathers". He brags about being a liar,a cheat a thief and a pimp, in addition to the hero shit.

A local radio guy said as Winter was giving in to Spring, "Let's welcome the start to orange barrel season once again!"

My first thought, "When had it stopped?!?"

I-475 and I-75 are undergoing massive changes. They started before Obama (though, at one point, we did have one of those huge ARRA signs 'welcoming' drivers to the mess), and I'm not sure there actually is an ending to it. Along 475, between 23 and 75, they spent quite a bit of time to destroy the existing and rebuild new dividers between the Eastbound and Westbound lanes. It took a long time, but the work done looks quite nice. That finished, probably about a year ago, or so. The past 6 months, they've had to make changes/improvements/who-the-fuck-knows-what to portions that require destruction - again - and rebuilding. I don't know if it was a storm sewer issue, but damn, on top of all the bridgework and re-routing, it's been nuts.
