I did read about a redneck involved in a shooting.
He was driving by a high school and saw a nut case shooting at people on the parking lot. He stopped and got out, persuading the shooter to stop.
It seems the shooter saw the logic in the argument that a 12 ga trumps a 9mm.

Every time some prissy "feminist" tells me I can't say a word because it's offensive to him/her, I tell them my culture is redneck and in my culture that word means "such and such." Then I ask them if they are being prejudice to my culture because if they are I need them to stop or I'll report them. It's so funny, it always confuses them. But, I see beyond my nose and find most rednecks do as well. I do imagine that a lot of rednecks may fuck with some prissy, obnoxious Brit that has a stick up his ass and who is only staying for eight months in NC and wants to tell them all how to behave. I'd imagine that sort of funin may have occurred. And, a girly Brit with a stick up his ass that really couldn't understand anything in the culture in which he found himself immersed would probably think everyone was a cretin except himself.

Obama didn't go to school in Chicago and he certainly didn't let his girls go to local schools while he was running his scams as a community organizer there.

The italicised part was a quote, not my words, so you might have that mixed up a bit. I am not quite a redneck but I like rednecks generally and yes I would put a gun rack on my pickup truck but these day it would have to be locking. Motherfuckers will steal your shit.

You can say anything you want there, but so can others. I am getting well practiced in returning insults with logically derived insults. In fact I got about a half dozen on my side against a Phd in Australia, he is so liberal I can smell it 10,000 miles away.

People do not know what redneck means, in fact I am not 100% sure but I got a good idea. And very few know what "White" means. It is not just a skin color, it means much more than that.
