The fun part is that Bannon, Kobach et al are the men to help him get 'er done.

That might have been the reason for many of the illegal crossings.

Border patrol: "Outstanding. Hey, we got some excellent BBQ sauce for that. You guys dig the pit and let's get rollin' "

Yea right... it is proven all the time someone is shot and killed or injured by accident...what a dumb ass statement.

Hardly, that is becoming more and more a rarity, contrary to anti gun propaganda firearm accidents are outranked by every type of accident more frequent than gerbil attacks. Also the vast majority of firearms accidents are hunting accidents, not the stuff you want to believe.

What liberals?? Seriously... who actually brought up gun control? And even if this wasn't just a figment of your imagination as usual, why would it somehow mean the gun control argument is inappropriate if they actually believed it was a shooting?

At this point, mass shootings are simply a fact of life. The gun control argument isn't suddenly a liberal plot to disarm Americans because this time he used a knife and a car instead. It SHOULDN'T be something that just gets trotted out in the media every time a mass shooting occurs, and then put away with nothing done about it after Trump says something stupid again... but that's the country you're living in.

And if it's such a 'horror', why are you using it to make fun of liberals who apparently started arguing for gun control instead of feeling sorry for the victims?

At least my claim was backed by news reports who said the attacker was upset about how the media portrayed Muslims... I suspect your claim is backed by the voices in your head that also make actual communication impossible.

This thread wasn't about gun control. It is about people pushing their agenda with "facts" that only exist in their minds while insisting that theirs s the only fact based position. You would find, if you weren't one of them , that this mindset across the spectrum of all issues.

I said the gun control ARGUMENT.

Your original post involved you gloating because apparently some mysterious liberal somewhere brought up gun control because of this knife attack and you seemed to think that was evidence that all liberals and leftists everywhere are forever wrong in everything they believe... so your special rules for this discussion require that I not bring up the very argument you were talking about?

So wow, they shouldn't use knife attacks to push the gun control argument. Okay, great, yes that makes sense. Whoever this person was that used this to argue for gun control should use relevant incidents to argue about their points. Lucky for them (but unlucky for Americans), there are plenty of other legitimate shootings that they can use to argue for tighter gun control.

Except at this point it's hopeless, so they might as well just accept that mass shootings are part of American mainstream culture now.

The first one to bring up gun control was Tim Kaine who stated that the "mass shooting" at Ohio St proved we needed tighter gun control while the incident was still going on.

Here is the tweet:

Deeply saddened by the senseless act of gun violence at Ohio State this morning. Praying for the injured and the entire Buckeye community

— Senator Tim Kaine (@timkaine) November 28, 2016

Nope, no mention of gun control here! I guess this means you're guilty of exactly what you're accusing him of being guilty of. Well, actually you're worse, because you've gone through this entire thread without checking/considering the meaning of what he actually said. The straw man king has taken a simple mistake and spun it into an attack on the evil leftists because you have no interest in understanding these issues and your thoughtless, kneejerk reaction is to bitch and moan and whine about leftists and wonder why they must persecute you so.

A I was not gloating I was pointing out stupidity.
B A mysterious liberal said something, do you know who Tim Kaine is, some mysterious Democrat? He was the Dem VP candidate this year and he was specific.

Tim Kaine didn't say anything about gun control. He called it 'gun violence' because at the time he thought it was a shooter.
You're the stupid one.

He is because he went off half cocked and shot his mouth off. The head of Moms demand was equally stupid and more specific. He believed it was gun violence because he wanted to and couldn't wait for facts.

Wow so you finally decided to reveal who you were talking about. I'm guessing you got this information here:

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/11/28/moms-demand-ohio-state-attack-push-gun-control/

But honestly, SO WHAT?

Does this completely invalidate the gun control argument? NO.
Does it mean they don't believe in what they represent? NO.
Does it mean that everyone who does something like this can't be trusted to put forward a thoughtful argument in the future? NO.

So basically your thread is an invitation for right wingers to wallow in someone's tiny and completely irrelevant mistake like pigs in shit.

You must feel really good about yourself.

Mass shooting at Ohio St leas to calls for tighter gun control from all the usual suspects. Only problem was he had a knife, the only one with a gun was the campus cop who stopped him. One of the first to make the call do to what he called a "mass shooting" came from Tim Kaine.

This is my first post so I named him from the start, unfortunately some of us can't read, don't the teach that in Canada? Funny you think anything a conservative says that is not totally accurate disqualifies him for life but a bozo on the left can say any dumb thing he wants and it doesn't affect his status. I didn't say he couldn't be trusted on anything but he clearly showed his bias on this issue.

WhoreMods -> RE: "Mass shooting" at Ohio St.leads to calls for tighter gun control. (11/30/2016 11:07:17 AM)

Would some vague attempt at gun control be harder than banning moslems from the country?

And in the posts that followed, which I have been quoting for several posts now, you said that Tim Kaine called for gun control, which is NOT TRUE.

WHEN did I say anything that led you to conclude that I think that 'anything a conservative says that is not totally accurate disqualifies him for life but a bozo on the left can say any dumb thing he wants and it doesn't affect his status.'?????

I've run across a lot of annoying RWNJs on message boards like this and NONE of them have ever gone to the lengths you do to avoid admitting a mistake, to invent evidence of liberal hypocrisy, to make non-issues into major issues or to do whatever it takes to make themselves feel better or avoid admitting a mistake.

I quoted this post by you earlier:

quote:

The first one to bring up gun control was Tim Kaine who stated that the "mass shooting" at Ohio St proved we needed tighter gun control while the incident was still going on.

And I showed you that it's NOT TRUE.

So instead of saying 'okay, my bad... BUT look at this other guy who did say what I said Tim Kaine said' (which is still stupid because this entire thread is stupid, but it still at least makes sense), you ignore what I'm saying, go back to your very first post and tell me I can't read? What the fuck is wrong with you??

WickedsDesire -> RE: "Mass shooting" at Ohio St.leads to calls for tighter gun control. (11/30/2016 11:51:40 AM)

Americans have so many mass shootings in the same states its hard to keep up..surprised the fukers can breed quicker than they shoot themselves

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Pike_County,_Ohio,_shootings

Death by gun 100 per day. Injury by gun 200 a day. or 35,000 dead by gun per year and 80, 000 injured by boom stick

So is this an argument utilised by the NRA gloaty and feeble minds warped to fukery as to why there is no need for tighter gun controls.

One year carnage and utter fuking mayhem of your second amendment the only one of worth these days for reasons that escape me easily accounts for more death of Americans than all your recent wars and johnny terrorists running amok...in the last 26 years plus. I am also led to believe if you add all the deaths in the nato forces and their home soil with all american deaths you aint fuking beating one year of the second amendment ...fuk you can probably go further back than the Falklands war.

A It wouldn't work.
B Since I don't advocate banning all Muslims I have no need to defend banning them. However we clearly need to do a better job vetting them.
