What people have to realize is that the US has nothing to gain by a bad relationship with Russia. That just makes Russia more dependent on China and we have Absolutely Nothing to gain from that situation.

Didn't Putin used to be the bad guy back when Sarah Palin could see him from her house in Alaska?

Well now we need proof of this and that now when of course, when we need no such 'proof' for 40-50 years of clandestine bullshit by the same institutionalized surveillance govt.

All of this is getting to be the longest running comedy no Hollywood producers could come up with. Where's Tom Clancy when we really need him ?

WMD in or from Iraq, we knew the MSM new, to the extent Saddam had any at all...were moved to Syria.

This 'hacking' has been going on since to hack became a cyber verb. Maybe the warmongers are going into withdrawal...no wars hot enough going on for too long now. They need a fix.

Hell, for all we know, it may be time for the 'hot' war that was to be but never was...with Russia. Talk about a profit center...wow !!

Obama was supposed to be a pimp for the ME by not putting boots on the ground ya'know, of course, as long as it isn't your feet in those boots.

Well here we go, time to rearrange your portfolios kinkroids, time to jump on Carlyle, Gen. Dynamics etc. etc. Did somebody say Halliburton ? Maybe go short on the big banks ? Then in a few months...jump back on them ?

Well hey, let's be fair, I think she only saw his easternmost mansion.

I don't know about that. You make a truly war-loving capitalist heart go all a'flutter with that kind of talk. The US and her western allies vs China-Russo. No nukes of course as nobody wins that one. Only the strictly, yet very deadly and profitable, conventional war...pays off.

As long as the Rothschilds et al would see that the west would win, that would be a NWO groupie, wet dream come true and it wouldn't...be a dream.

To think, lend the western taxpayers the Trillion$ to go to war and then lend Russia and China the Trillion$ needed to rebuild. Hell, might be time to invest in Macau and the Crimea where the losing millionaire (billionaire) elites will 'vacation' while it's all go'n on.

It seems like just the other day, Hillary's State Department traded our uranium mines to the Russians in exchange for bribe money. Whatever happened to their coziest of cozy relationship?

It doesn't count now that some felon claims they helps Trump.
Besides what difference, at this point, does it make.

Personally I cannot see how a reasonable person wouldn't want it investigated. Consider the following.
1. Someone hacked the emails. Hacking is a crime. Seems that ought to be investigated.
2. Somebody used the hacked emails to try influence the election against Clinton (if not specifically pro Trump). That really ought to be investigated.
3. An unspecified number of US intelligence agencies has on more than one occasion said they believe that Russia (a less than friendly nation) was involved in the hacks. Now that really, really ought to be investigated.

You do realize that if DOJ hadn't been so determined to protect Hillary we would have investigated this along time ago.

The CIA is hardly "some felon."

Really? A crime was committed, the proceeds of that crime were used to commit a bigger crime, and it may have been an unfriendly foreign country behind it. and you figure that doesn't matter.

I am going to guess you won't be taking that attitude the next time some fucked up crazy opens fire in a school, I mean after all once the guy has already killed the kids, at that point what difference does it make? The kids are still gonna be dead so may as well just ignore it and move on. Right?

Please don't invite turning this into a gun thread.

I'm surprised there's so much silence at McConnell, Ryan, and company taking a stand here against Trump's cavalier dismissal.

Allow? So who do you think allowed it? Perhaps transparency must be part of the new world we live in. Technology might force it upon us. Maybe in the long run it will be a good thing for everyone... but right now we experience the growing pains. Who knows? If a positive relationship between Russia and the USA helps stabilize the world, maybe the ends will justify the means. Right now everything is speculation anyways.

Well the people opposing an investigation certainly are doing their best to allow it.

Yanno, the RNC has been working with the FBI investigating email hacks for months... Could it be possible that McConnell etc know the RNC is clear and are pushing the investigation for political gain?

But then again, we only have James Clapper's word about the 17 Intelligence agencies, and he's the guy who blatantly lied to Congress so...

Please find a good dictionary and acquaint yourself with the reality that words in English have multiple meanings, as in this case, not meaning necessarily "permission." What do they teach in schools today???

Yet again, obviously, there's no problem with good relations between countries, and yet again, manipulating an election is not the action of a friend, and yet again, read yourself some history, and you'll discover there's a lot of reason for not assuming hearts and flowers.

And yet again, the CIA announcing their investigation has led to this conclusion is not the same as "speculation."

And yet again, there's a world of difference between a foreign power manipulating an election and a Kumbayah world of transparent unicorns and butterfly valentines.

Are you suggesting the US government should not have spy agencies?
