I think that is absolutely not true. I literally do not know a single female in my life that died from heart diseases. Zero none! It's like so rare! It's always cancer. But every men I knew that died, is always heart disease. Or currently already suffering from some kind of problem that puts them at risk of heart attack.

That study might be US focus, perhaps because of US specific diet and high obesity rate. But in Asian diet, eating the same healthier things, both genders, Men die from heart disease, women die from cancer.

Just look at this. White and Black woman seem to die of heart disease as number 1 killer. But Asian and Hispanic and Native American women die from Cancer as number 1 killer. So this is just a white and black women thingy and gotta do with their diet.

Personally I think we are all dying of cancer here because we eat made in china food, which are probably all toxic but cheap and affordable.

Im a feminist because simply because I can quote anatomical and realistic facts at you. For why women have different biological workings than men.
When I was nursing, we had mostly men in the coronary care unit, women were brought in dead, because they didnt have the extra insite into why heart attack symptoms in women were different. That was only 35 + years ago

Considering that the article came from USA Today, and linked to info from the American Heart Association, then yes, it was probably US based. The whole article was US focused, Greta. That is the demographic being studied and discussed. And in that demographic, heart disease is #1, for men and women.

No, women are not children and women only deserve as much value as what any male is given. They are capable adults like men. They are equals. They have an equal footing in the big bad world. If you want true genuine equality, the empathy gap needs to disappear. No special privileges, no double standards, no affirmative actions, no special quotas, no special interest on one gender. The same standard applies when a male complains compared to when a woman complains.

Pure, true, genuine, equality. Something that the vast majority of feminists seem to be afraid of.
