The report claimed Mr. Cohen (I believe his first name is "Michael") went to Prague to communicate with a Russian agent. BuzzFeed's been running with it. The New York Times declined to print it. Hell, Politico wouldn't touch it. They claim they've had it for months! Then, when the dust settled: Mr. Cohen has never been to Prague (He posted photos of his passport) and a media source has absolutely verified that he was in California at the very moment he was supposed to be in Prague, being a spy. It's too bad this isn't actionable because of the way BuzzFeed insulated itself. One benefit to this: This bullshit story (which has already been PROVEN false) managed to take talk of Ol' Dumbo Ears' verbal assault of Donal ... err ... farewell speech out of the news cycle. Poor, broken, PPLs. Michael

I wonder if it has dawned on some people at Breitbart and other far Right places that "fake news" works both ways? There's no monopoly on anyone dreaming up fake news. It's not even difficult - RM does it all the time. I have no idea whether these claims are true or false. Neither has anyone else posting here. None of us are privy to the truth. I suppose that we will learn the truth eventually but by then the damage will have been done, the mud will have stuck. But it does makes deliciously tantalising speculation and if Trump is discomforted by it, he deserves no sympathy having demonstrated his willingness to play hard and fast with the truth on numerous occasions to date, and having profited enormously from his deliberate lies evasions and half truths. This is what happens when Trump trashed integrity.
