There was confusion in the hours after the Benghazi attack. There WAS an inflammatory video that was causing anger throughout that part of the Arab world. And then, there is the inconvenient fact that the ringleader of Benghazi SAID that the attack was partially in response to the video:

Well let's go with that. If "the plan had been under consideration since November 7, and officials under the administration of Barack Obama reviewed and approved it January 6," then the failures in intelligence and planning would seem to devolve upon the Obama administration, leaving Trump guilty at worst of relying on the previous administration's assessment. One might also wonder if these unnamed "officials" cited by Reuters expressed their view prior to the raid, and whether it was considered to have merit by the military entities charged with carrying out the plan.

While I totally agree with you, I am not sure why you bother. People were blaming shit on the clown before he ever took office. From this point forward every thing will be down to him no matter what facts may say. But it is nice to see them taking notice of the casualties of war again. They seemed to have lost interest in it for the past 8 years.
